FYI, Half of these reviews are from current employees.Management is a mess and it shows in their projects. They will fight tooth and nail about scope so they can nickel and dime you. They are a small firm staffed with big firm resources but operate like a startup (unorganized and problematic).Save yourself a headache and find another consultancy.

I spent a while looking for a mobile app development company in Houston before going with Octal Digital, and it turned out to be a right call. They asked the right questions upfront, which saved us a lot of back and forth later. The team hit most of their deadlines and were honest when something was taking longer than expected. A few small bugs came up after launch and they fixed them fast without us having to push hard. If you need an app built and want a team that actually communicates, they are worth talking to.

We brought in Octal Digital when our React Native app and AWS cloud server setup became too difficult to manage by previous company. Their team handled the code migration smoothly, cleaned up our server structure, and fixed a few issues we’d been dealing with for a long time. Since then, we’ve continued working with them on our web app features and ongoing server maintenance. They’ve been reliable, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process.

I started working with SoftDoes when our product had already grown beyond the point where small fixes were enough. We needed to rethink several parts of the system and make sure the next stage of growth would not create even more technical debt. The team got into the project fast. Within the first few weeks, they helped us identify the main bottlenecks, clean up several fragile integrations, and improve the parts of the platform that were slowing us down the most. One practical result was that a key operation that used to take around 4-5 minutes now takes less than a minute. I also saw a noticeable drop in recurring technical issues after the release. What I liked most was the way they worked with us. Very little ceremony, clear communication, good technical judgment, and a strong sense of ownership.I’d be happy to work with SoftDoes again on another complex software project.

My experience with SoftDoes has been extremely disappointing. Their communication is terrible, the people I dealt with were highly unprofessional, and their pricing is absolutely outrageous compared to the value of the work being delivered. One of my biggest concerns is the company’s lack of transparency. From what I’ve observed, their development work appears to be outsourced to people in Ukraine through another company called Come Back Agency. Even when I searched for SoftDoes online, its website appeared to redirect to Come Back Agency.Take a look at their LinkedIn yourself. They present themselves as a Kansas City-based company, yet I couldn’t find a single employee listed as being based in Kansas City. That raises serious questions about their business structure, where their team actually operates, and who you’re really paying to develop your software. My interactions with the CEO, Orest, were particularly unpleasant. I found him extremely arrogant, dismissive, and condescending. He speaks to customers as though they’re beneath him. Rather than addressing legitimate concerns professionally, his attitude made an already frustrating experience even worse.Their Google reviews also raised serious red flags for me. Several reviewer profiles appeared to have AI-generated profile pictures, and the reviews themselves read as though they were written by ChatGPT rather than genuine customers. Many of these accounts had only ever reviewed SoftDoes. After I confronted them about these concerns, I noticed that some profile pictures had been changed to what appeared to be stock images, and the accounts had gained an additional review of random places. I cannot independently verify who operates these accounts, but the timing and patterns made me seriously question the authenticity of their online reputation.Nothing about my experience with SoftDoes has inspired trust. If you’re looking for custom software development, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Verify who you’re actually doing business with, who will be developing your software, and what you’re paying for.

We had been running a large part of our business through spreadsheets and a mix of different tools for years. We've grown past spreadsheets now. SoftDoes built a custom platform around the way our team actually works. That's probably what we appreciated most about working with them.

FDI Creative is the Best! I was recently tasked with taking over the completion of our new website. We worked with FDI Creative based on numerous recommendations for very high quality and professionalism. All those recommendations were true. I didn't know where to start, but the Team at FDi Creative provided me the input and direction I needed to get it going. Talk about efficient, they were on top of me daily requesting information and providing me with a road map to success in providing that information. Well we are finally done and now getting ready to launch this week. I am very happy with the final product and I must say i could have NEVER done it without them. i would HIGHLY recommend FDI Creative when your ready to create and launch or Website. They guided me through the entire process and made it easy. i know they offer much more then we needed so i would check them out and find out how they can help you. I will be referring them often anytime I hear of anyone needing this type of work or assistance. They are the BEST!
