Having a good idea for an app isn't enough - you also need vision and tech-know-how to turn that idea into a workable, practical reality. Having that expertise in-house can be costly for small organisations, especially when the app is a part of your offering, but not the whole of your business. Our experience of working with We Get Design Ltd has proven that they have that vision and knowledge, as well as great ambition to make any end product the best it can possibly be. They work hard to ensure brilliant communication, and clear expectation management and they do it all with professionalism from beginning to end. With rates that are completely reasonable given their abilities, they are a great alternative to bringing expertise in-house. Not great.I would approach with caution as what we were pitched in the sales call vs the service we received was extremely different.When we were initially speaking to inbound they pitched that they could help us plan and co-ordinate our whole integration and move to hubspot.We were hoping for something quite strategic, starting with a really sturdy initial plan. In reality , the support was much more surface level and operational.We decided to go for a consultancy because we lacked internal expertise on hubspot but we still found ourselves constantly on knowledge hub and trying to figure out implementation solution, despite working with inbound.What they were good for was bouncing ideas off and stress testing if it would actually work. What we were looking for was a partner to guide us but what we got was someone to go to with our already thought through solution to verify.Our project manager was really lovely to work with and always super helpful and giving us good snippets of information about HubSpot. The devs who we worked with on a couple of small tasks were also good to work with.However, soon as we spent the initial contracted hours, we were immediately allocated a different project manager resource without any kind of handover, to manage our project and work going forward.Will not be using again and very glad we scaled back our initial commitment at the start to protect us against any huge commitment.

I went to interview for a Delivery Manager role.Had 3 people interview me, one of which was dressed in sports outfit for the interview - I do not regard this as being professional.Second, the role advertised is not the same with the role itself. In the job description, the responsibilities were all related to Project Management, however when the interview started I was completely blindsided.They asked me to basically do the work of Sales, Product Owner, Design, Architecture and we spoke a little of Delivery as well.Only to be told later that because this is a consultancy, it's expected of you to do everything. The job does NOT pay for X5 roles with those responsibilities, but you are expected to do those tasks regardless.My advice - just write down all of these in the job advert, saves people time to decide whether it is suited for them or not.
