Joshua Lee worked with us for several weeks, starting with brand research all the way to a completely new logo, brand identity, and branding guide. Joshua stayed with the project, even though there was a lot of pushback and hesitancy from stakeholders on the direction to go in, partly because the old brand identity had so much equity. Joshua was very communicative and was able to explain the science behind branding and why we needed to make a change, which helped get buy-in from leadership. After exploring dozens of different directions the brand identity, we landed on one that just clicked. It was simple, memorable, unique, and also borrowed some elements from the old brand identity, so the rebranding felt more like a natural evolution, rather than a complete rehaul. This was just what BoxHouse needed. We were able to launch a new website and branded materials with the new brand identity, which is helping the company as we enter a new stage of growth. I definitely recommend working with the Big Red Jelly team! During the entire rebranding process, they really operated as an extension of our team, and was great at listening and taking feedback, while also challenging us just a bit so we could land on something that we didn't know we needed at the beginning.

The team is personable. The visual design is professional. When the engagement was going smoothly, communication was responsive and the relationship was positive. That is the full extent of what I can recommend.$16,610 paid across a website build and eight-month SEO programme. When the structural failures emerged commercial content hidden from search engines from day one, a broken contact form for four months, core deliverables marked complete in their own system that had never been done the pattern became consistent and never changed. Friendly responses. Reassurance. Deferral. Not in scope. Next month.When I submitted a formal nine-section evidence package drawn from BRJ's own contracts and internal records, their response was to propose continuing the retainer at $995 per month to complete the outstanding contracted work. Every item in that proposal was already in the original contract. That proposal was their own written admission that eight months of billing had not delivered what was contracted.When I declined and requested a refund, their formal written response claimed the Scope of Work was fully executed. Their own internal documents list the same deliverables as outstanding in April 2026 that were marked complete throughout the engagement. Both documents are BRJ's. Both cannot be true.Not one specific failure was acknowledged. Not one item of evidence was addressed.Mistakes happen in every agency engagement. What defines an agency is what they do when mistakes are documented and presented. This agency's answer across every avenue, verbal and written was to engage with none of it.Before signing, ask specifically what accountability looks like when contracted work is not delivered. That answer matters more than anything in the sales process.

ELEK+RIK has worked on improving our React Native mobile app. We had the skeleton of an app, but they were able to do an end-to-end re-design of each of the main pages. Since then, they`ve successfully implemented around ~20 different features on our mobile app. We share a spec and design, they provide an estimate and occasionally some design options, then when completed create a PR on GitHub. Their code is well-organized, easy to follow, and rarely do we have to go back-and-forth about bugs. They are also excellent communicators - carefully following threads on Slack, effectively communicating design and engineering tradeoffs, and even producing a 10m Loom video walking through a diagram. Their communication is top-notch. They are super easy to work with even though we are on very different time zones. And, I am impressed at the speed and execution of their development.
