A picture is worth a thousand words. Photography is the driving force behind social media because it gets people talking. From the hit photography app Instagram to the smartphone’s creation of the selfie, photos tell a story.
Two12 Photography studio is based in the sophisticated land of Abu Dhabi. Their belief? Sharing your story is the most important thing in the world. And they share that story with a lens and strap.
This is a stellar example of best print design. The logo itself is striking. The neon colors pop out from the black background. Blue and pink and purple make the logo appear lit up to illuminate the darkest of backgrounds. Two12 illuminates your story with cameras and gives it the attention it deserves like a neon sign.
Alaa Tameem was the graphic designer who created this example of print design genius. By incorporating the neon sign he added the perception of a metaphor that shows photography lighting up customers most precious moments. Great photos, like neon signs, bring attention. We want our photos to be seen. This is good. This is spectacular.
Look at the amazing logotype. The flowing lines weave in and out like the click of a shutter snap. This gives the logo a unique feel and makes the brand indistinguishable from any others.
Above, we see the initial rendering of the logo to be used in the print design. Alaa was inspired here by multiple circles that could represent the shooting of photos with a high-speed camera. The perfect shot for the perfect picture. This is a display of creative mastery.
The business cards look outstanding. Look at how the colors jump off the cards. They look like they are lit up by an electronic LED lighting apparatus. The best print designs attract attention. This card looks so cool I could not fathom how someone could not pick it up and keep it somewhere safe.
The logo stands out further on the company brochure. White text and an elegant font is crispier that kettle cooked potato chips (of which, Jalapeno is my favorite flavor).
The crisp and simplistic font makes this brochure and pricing guide look like a piece of art that belongs someplace very important. This is the studio you want snapping your photos.
We see the logo as an actual neon sign in the desert of Abu Dhabi. When lit up at night, one can imagine the attention it garners. Let us not forget the wonderful play on the company name via featuring it in letters. This creates memory repetition when saying and seeing the name of the company. People will not forget it.
