UI/UX Design Review from Audrey Thomas
Highland is a great partner. The sought to deeply understand our product, customers, and pain points and built a number of forward looking opportunities for us in addition to the tight scope of our project. Proactive, thoughtful, responsive, and flexible. We are a small team and found lots of value in working with Highland to get our UX refresh project up and running.

UI/UX Design Review from ✨ Liz Pisney ✨
We recently partnered with Highland on research and prototypes for a new information architecture on a volunteer resources site for our Chapter leaders.
Having over 3000 volunteers around the globe can introduce a lot of nuance and complexity to research and design processes. The team at Highland handled it all skillfully - focusing on how to deliver the most clarity and usability to our audience.
10 out of 10, I would recommend working with the Highland team!

Executive Director at Thoracic Surgery Foundation

Webflow Review from Lee Wiensch, CAE, CFRE
We had a great experience working with the team at Highland to develop a new website for the Thoracic Surgery Foundation, a charitable organization aimed at advancing heart and lung health for all. Highland worked with us to re-imagine a dated website with limited functionality, and developed a a gorgeous new site that beautifully reflects the vitality of the organization. We anticipate that our award applicants, donors, surgeons and grateful patients will be able to easily navigate the new site and have a much-improved user experience.
Jeff Blanchard and his team were exceptionally good listeners, and worked hard to create solutions for our complicated awards program. They provided good training to our team throughout the process so that we have been able to keep things updated and easily make changes now that the site has launched. I am grateful for their patience and very quick turnaround as we juggled a new strategic plan and new branding, all at the time of the website creation.
I have been continually impressed with the expertise and the innovation that Highland brings to a project like ours. It was a pleasure to launch this site -- on time and on budget -- with their excellent work and support.

Mobile App Development Review from Vladimir Drogan
They are the top app developers Ive ever worked with
I'm most impressed with Ptolemay's ability to properly plan the process, manage their work, and communicate early about what it will take. They're clearly experienced, understand what's needed, and are truthful and honest about it. With Ptolemay, I don't have to worry about the ongoing process since all updates are easy to access.

Mobile App Development Review from Ekaterina Rebus
They are true experts in mobile app development!
The most important thing to us when working with any company is that they take responsibility for the work they do and show a high level of expertise in their field. We have never worked with a company that has demonstrated such dedication to their craft as Ptolemay. They have always shown up prepared and ready to get started on the project at hand, and they have even gone above and beyond in order to produce exceptional products.

We cooperate with Ptolemay for the last couple of years in terms of outstaffing demands. As we have already worked on more than 6 big projects, they have proven themselves as a reliable partner that provide high quality developers. Despite the difficulty of the position we need, they are always ready to involve their team to help us cover the demand. Even though any cooperation tend to have its own issues and misunderstanding, the Ptolemays’ team has always been open for resolving problems and finding compromise

Can generative AI companies in the United States handle enterprise-level projects?
Yes, many generative AI companies in the United States are fully equipped to handle enterprise-level projects. They work with extensive data systems and flexible cloud solutions, all while adhering to important compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR, which makes them a great fit for industries like finance, healthcare, and retail.
Generative AI firms often combine AI model development, data engineering, and system integration to deliver secure, production-ready solutions. Their enterprise work typically includes custom LLM training, workflow automation, predictive analytics, and AI-powered customer support systems tailored to complex business needs.
What factors affect the cost of generative AI solutions?
The cost of generative AI solutions depends on project complexity, data requirements, and model customization. Training or fine-tuning large models requires extensive computational resources, specialized talent, and time, all of which increase expenses.
Integration with existing systems, API usage, cloud infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance or support can also affect the cost of generative AI solutions. Projects that require strict compliance, real-time performance, or enterprise-grade scalability tend to cost more than off-the-shelf implementations.
How do generative AI startups in the United States measure success in AI projects?
Generative AI startups in the United States measure success through technical and business metrics. On the technical side, they measure how well the model works by tracking its accuracy, speed, quality of results, and user satisfaction. They often compare these results to earlier models or previous versions.
From a business perspective, they assess ROI, adoption rate, customer retention, and productivity gains generated by the AI solution. Success depends on whether the technology provides steady and useful benefits that support the client's goals.
How can I verify a United States generative AI company’s credentials or certifications?
To verify a United States generative AI company's credentials or certifications, check the following key factors:
Review if the company holds a valid SOC 2 Type II report, which confirms controls for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy
Check for compliance standards like HIPAA (for US patient data) or ISO 27001 if the AI solution handles health or financial data
Ask for documentation showing certificate validity, auditor name, and audit date, rather than just a badge
Confirm there are clear procedures for data handling, including encryption, access control, and audit logs, which are often part of certified frameworks
What guarantees or service assurances do generative AI startups in the United States provide?
Generative AI startups in the United States typically offer service-level agreements (SLAs) that define uptime, performance metrics, and response times for support. These often include guarantees for data security, confidentiality, and compliance with standards like SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
Generative AI companies may also provide accuracy benchmarks, pilot phases, or refund policies tied to project milestones and deliverables. While startups are generally more flexible, they balance agility with formal assurances that protect both parties and ensure predictable performance outcomes.
