Stopped by this Mexican spot while walking the Freedom Trail near Faneuil Hall—great late-night find! We ordered the shrimp burrito bowl, birria tacos, and a shrimp burrito.The bowl was fresh and flavorful, with perfectly cooked shrimp and just the right balance of toppings. The birria tacos were absolutely delicious—juicy, rich, and packed with flavor. I would’ve loved the shrimp burrito more if it didn’t have the heavy layer of tomato sauce on top, which overpowered the rest a bit.That said, the staff was friendly, the vibe was casual and welcoming, and it’s open late—a major bonus for Boston. Very tasty Mexican food, one of the best I ever had, especially the ribs, crispy but not dry. The shrimp ceviche also ok, except the tortillas were a little too hard. Chicken in the taco is very well tuned and tasty.

used to love this place when they had street corns, I used to go almost every day for it. I went one night to get the street corns like I always do. But the bartender was miserable I asked what happened to the street corns he answered “do you see it on the menu” I responded “no” he said “so we don’t have it” after that I never went back to this place. Only thing that would bring me and all my friends back is the street corn (even tho the service was bad I’m giving 4 stars because the food was amazing)

In South Africa, Bain and Co destroyed its world class Tax Authority, closed down units which were investigating underworld criminals, and destroyed the lives and careers of a number of worthy civil servants. They were complicit in the State capture and should be held accountable for treason. Their actions directly resulted in a 1% VAT increase being paid by all South Africans. The damage to the SA fiscus has been tens of billions of dollars. Their CEO in SA Vittorio Massone had the audacity to lie under oath before a juducial commission of enquiry on the matter, and then run back to Italy pretending he was sick.An update: Retired South African High Court Judge Nugent in his final report dated 14 Dec 2018 says Bain & Co lacked integrity and colluded with disgraced head of the tax authority to effectively destruct the organisation and destroy the careers of many honest employees. The cost to South Africa has been immeasurable.

I they do not care about their customers!I have been with them for over 40 years! I was just notified I was no longer wanted as a client.I called and text 3 people I knew there, asking why they were canceling my simple tax account.NO ANSWERES. Then a month later I got an email saying they were down sizing!Is this how you treat a loyal customer of over 40 years that does a simple tax return? I always relied on this company and the people in it. I feel so disrespected. I would never trust them again.

Computer technology has vastly improved many of our lives, even in the non-profit world. The issues are cost, reliability and maintenance. It is too much for a small business owner to become an expert in these areas. I'm not even sure it is possible. Having a partner - a paid vendor, yes, but a still a partner that respects your budget, responds quickly to problems as they arrive, and proactively seeks to protect your network from crashes and malware is invaluable. We feel like we have that partner with Whittlesey Technologies. Every year we meet to discuss vendor agreements and performance. Whittlesey Technologies has never been considered for replacement. They are our partner.

I was recruited by this company for a contract role, and that process--although a bit high pressured--went smoothly enough (recruiter was very nice, but demanded answers and a commitment somewhat urgently, with some oddly probing questions). Progressed to the interview stage, and was told I'd hear back later that day or next.But now, a week later, I've been completely ghosted! No update, no follow up whatsoever (despite me leaving a message after several days, requesting one--only to be ignored). Perplexing, but I suspect that the recruiter likely oversold the client's interest and my chances as a candidate (false promise on his part, but lesson learned on mine).At this level of advanced and specialized roles and salaries for which you are recruiting, it's completely unprofessional to not even have the courtesy to follow up and provide a candidate with feedback, either way. Very disrespectful of my time.

I have been in the medical device business for many years and dealt with many recruiting firms. ALKU is absolutely the worst company I have come across. First, you have multiple ALKU employees cold-calling you at the same time, various calls on my cell phone. I must have 20 of those calls in last 6 months and I blocked them all but they seem to generate new numbers all the time. I told ALKU callers that if there were the last company on this earth offering these services, I would dnot use them and to stop calling my number. So now I get calls, like today, where someone just hangs up, very professional and mature, right?. I guess they proved my point!
