So sphiscated accounting systems I must say. For what? Never saw an irs payable in any return they asked me to prepare although I’m no licensed accountant. No names no whistle just a honest google review. Makes me wonder what an accountant does, cooking books or AICPA reporting them. No mark up in my basis. The roc building is beyond comprehension though, they even do SNL up or down stairs never got to see a show so I don’t know

As an accounting firm I would give them 1 star. I recently discovered a litany of deductions they failed to consider. You will be given an EA, which is just a glorified tax preparer. They will know nothing and be slow to reply. You might as well get your taxes done by H&R block or a proper independent CPA. If these folks do your taxes, get prepared for a larger tax bill. I strongly advise against it.

We have been with Wiss for about (11) years now, so I believe we know their firm fairly well.At the start, they immediately saved us a considerable amount of tax liability in Year 1 and moving forward over the years. As we are a global corporation with many subsidiaries, they also made some recommendations as far as restructuring to take advantage of other more technical issues.We primarily use Wiss for our annual general accounting audit, tax preparations and filings, and 401K audit. They also assist from time to time regarding international related issues. As with many companies, changes of personnel do occur from time to time, but they have always made these as seamless as possible.We have also experienced Federal and State audits, which they have also guided us thru from A to Z.In summary, we value Wiss as a partner with our company and have always experienced a very positive, professional and full service relationship.

Having been with Wiss for over 5 years now, Paul, Jim and the rest of the staff have been amazing.They respond to my emails, answer my questions and add insight into the financial and accounting aspects of my business. This has allowed me to make better decisions for the growth of my company and the financial security for my family.I have had two other accounting firms in the past and neither were as attentive or engaging as they are at Wiss. The team at Wiss got my business onto an online platform that has made my accounting a breeze. There have been several occasions where I needed clarification and had difficulty with certain aspects of my quickbooks account and they were able to rectify them within 1 business day.As a busy owner running a company, I feel great knowing the accounting aspect and tax planning is in great hands. One less thing I need to be concerned with which allows me to concentrate on growing my business.I would highly recommend them and have personally done so with family, friends and colleagues.

This firm is parasitic and useless. Terrible service. If they didn’t exist, the world would be a better place. They are rude, incompetent, and exist only to stick their blood funnel in to anything that smells like money. They have no concept of serving their clients; if you are forced by a family court to sign their engagement letter, they only serve themselves. Abject greed and institutionalized theft. They add zero value. It took six months to get them to process a QDRO that was supposed to be made within 30 days. They then used the last four digits of my ex-wife’s SSN on their password protected draft order. Why would I know that? Again, these are not nice people. Do not retain if you can avoid them. They seem to be part of the parasitic ecosystem around family courts and divorce proceedings; they do not add any value at all. Just another leech profiting from other people’s pain. They are a net drag on everything. They should not exist.

Your services are used by Performance Alfa Romeo Whippany, NJ. Date of purchase 11/29/2023, temporary registration expired 12/31/2023, date of registration 01/17/2024; date of receipt of plates 01/23/2024. 23 days loss off use on new vehicle. Performance Alfa Romeo passed us off to Vanguard Services, and Mr. Val Sanchez on 1/10/2024. We asked Mr. Sanchez for specifics: “When was the title work was sent to NYDMV? What is the cause of delay? Was the title even in possession to sell the car?” We were promised answers and none have been offered up. No follow up. One star for delayed service with no explanation; and your failed attempts to placate a customer. My advice to others: steer clear of dealerships using this service.
