I attempted to exercise my right to information under Art. 15 GDPR with Cooper Ads after learning from another company that Cooper Ads had shared my data with them.I submitted a formal request by email.So far – a month and several reminders later – I have not received any response from Cooper Ads. Neither an acknowledgement of receipt nor a substantive response.This kind of non-response to requests for information in this form is unacceptable and demonstrates a lack of respect for data protection regulations and the rights of data subjects. I have filed a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority.I would therefore advise against companies that handle data protection requests in this manner. A potential customer or partner should know what they are getting into.Update:Instead of addressing my data protection concerns, the company attempted to have this factual and verifiable criticism deleted by Google. Google upheld my appeal and reinstated the rating after I was able to prove the facts. This process reinforces my original assessment.
