Honestly, I have nothing short of 5 star feedback for this team. Brent, Amber and the entire crew at Matchbox are extremely intelligent, kind, professional and excellent at what they do. My company - Gunter Pest and Lawn in Kansas City - have been using their services for over eight years. They've helped our web traffic grow, brought our 1970s logo and website design into the 21st century :), regularly propose incredibly creative marketing ideas/strategies and problem solve in our weaker areas. While incorporating and revamping our business model, it became apparent that we were need of a website update. I went through a process of visiting with several different companies and became obvious almost immediately that Matchbox would be the team to carry us forward. With Abstrakt, I got more than just a web development team. They delivered a true comprehensive digital strategy. I hire Abstrakt for an update to the company website, with a focus on improving our Google search rankings. They started with a thorough strategy, tying their work back into specific goals and Google keywords. But the artistic talent showed with the actual site development. They wrote the text for each of the pages; each page was better than anything I could write. But beyond text, the images, site layout, colors, etc. They all reflected a consistent design language that subtly and constantly reinforced my marketing message. Even when I insisted on extra content that only appealed to a small market segment, they reformatted that content to drive the same compelling message as the rest of the site. And it worked. Within one week of launch, I got a new lead from the site. Abstrakt was a complete package of expertise. At every step, they delivered better than anything I could achieve. We had a great initial project with Ameex before they were purchased by Perficient. Post-support was slow, but acceptable, however as time went on, I stopped getting the level of communication and time itemization I was accustomed to. With Perficient taking over, things devolved pretty quickly, and despite multiple conversations with my account manager - nothing changed, even after bumping up hours to have more dedicated resources. Ultimately, I cancelled the contract this year. Disappointing because their team/work was stellar (and the development team is still solid) before, but the simple asks were continually ignored, and over time, I lost trust that I was getting the hours agreed upon.Towards the end, there was also what felt like a lot of gaslighting of my concerns, and outside of an initial project, I cannot recommend Perficient for ongoing support.Edit: I'm now bumping this to a 1 Star because I've spent the last 3 weeks digging into code and it's one questionable decision after another. Really poor.
