UXReactor helped us with a UI/UX research process, which included in-person interviews where they walked users through unboxing, connecting, and using the features of our smart air conditioner. From there, the team took the findings and produced a report for us to make improvements to our app and increase our activation rates. In addition to the report, UXReactor also redesigned some parts of our app using Figma. The project required a very iterative process, so we required more than one discovery call to get started. In fact, they didn't just work with me; we also integrated our consumer marketing insights team to identify participants. We also collaborated with them to figure out how to recruit the right users based on our target customer profiles. Additionally,UXReactor recruited participants for us, going through their database to find actual users. Then, they brought a researcher and a designer to interview all the participants on-site in their location. That was actually a challenge because we're a remote team, but we needed a physical location to show the actual air conditioner to the participants. After the interviews, UXReactor worked with us to go through the results and the report's structure. We had multiple revisions to ensure that we were pulling out the insights I wanted to find on it. Equal Design started with good design process and elicited all of the needed workflow decision making up front. From the time the contract started to when I had workflows to review was under a week. Despite being in very different time zones they were very responsive to change requests and making prompt updates. There were no communication issues with any of the workflows or screens - very minor tweaks to grammar and wording, but otherwise most of the generated screen text was correct the first time. UI design was also prompt - upon approving the workflows we rapidly had several different design approaches to choose from. From the approved workflows they quickly had all of the application screens generated including several animations. After some back and forth we had a full mobile app UI/UX design in a matter of weeks. I would totally recommend Equal Design and would work with them again.

We paid $117,000 across two contracts $68,000 for development and $49,000 for marketing to Naked Development for a consumer-ready iOS and Android app and a full marketing funnel. They delivered neither. We originally requested delivery by Black Friday, the most critical sales window for a parent-focused consumer app. Naked Development proposed December as an alternative. That deadline was their own suggestion. They missed it. We extended to January, then February, then April, then issued a formal written Notice of Breach before giving them one final deadline the following June. Every deadline was missed. We were over 300% over timeline. When we finally handed the codebase to a second development firm, the app would not build on either iOS or Android. We paid thousands just to get it running enough to assess the damage. The contracted team was never fully assembled. Tickets were put on hold without explanation. Subscription management, the most critical feature of the app, was broken for months and never fixed by Naked. The commercial video Naked produced was unusable by launch, as cultural references had gone stale during the delay. We are software engineers who have led teams of over 100. These were not minor issues. They were basic, objective engineering failures. When we raised breach concerns with founder John Driscoll, his response was "let's just let our lawyers talk about it." We are aware of more than a dozen other former clients who experienced similar issues. Do not recommend.

I hired Naked Development in 2022 to build a new version of my mobile app. I paid $203,000 upfront (spread over six months essentially everything I had saved from my first year in business), and was told the app would be completed in five months, by Fall 2022. Instead, the project turned into nearly a year of delays, almost done updates, and declining involvement from their team. My very small internal team and I ended up doing much of the project management and QA work ourselves because progress had stalled so severely. Despite constant reassurances, no functional product was ever delivered. By mid-2023, I hired multiple external development teams to assess the code. Every single one independently concluded that the app was non-functional, unstable, not scalable, and could not be launched. They warned it would crash immediately and required a complete rebuild. I then hired a neutral third-party auditor with zero connection to any agency and his report confirmed the same findings. After paying over $200K, I had nothing usable. When I factored in delays, internal time lost, expert audits, and the cost of rebuilding from scratch, the financial impact to my business exceeded $500,000. After multiple attempts to resolve the situation privately were unsuccessful, I filed a lawsuit, which is now a matter of public record (Superhuman Inc. v. Naked Development). The case is set for trial in early 2026. While litigation is never something a founder hopes for, at a certain point it became the only responsible path given the evidence and the financial damage. I strongly recommend extreme caution when considering this agency.

Scope included a short feature paragraph, an SEO backlink, and a social graphic to announce the feature. I paid USD 400 on Apr 9, 2025. An MSN link with my name did go live, but only for a few days before becoming inaccessible without notice. After the takedown, Pressiqa proposed publishing my profile on a different website (ceogazette.com) that I had not agreed to. I asked for documentation of the cited MSN policy change; none was provided to me. I was also sent a promotional graphic that used Microsoft/MSN branding and stated msn.com names [my name] among the Top 10, which in my view implies an editorial accolade I did not receive. The short-lived link created practical problems. I had already shared the MSN URL in proposals, my media kit, and social posts; when it disappeared, those assets contained dead links and I had to remediate them, which impacted credibility with clients and event planners. I filed a PayPal dispute for service not as described, attaching the contract/pitch, invoice, screenshots of the dead link, and emails offering a substitute site. On Aug 12, 2025, PayPal closed the case in my favor and refunded the payment. Communication was prompt but did not resolve core issues or provide third-party documentation supporting the removal. Based on my documented experience, I would not engage again. If you consider services like this, insist on a minimum publication duration in writing, verify the hosting platforms policies directly, avoid substitutions you didnt agree to, and pay through a method with buyer protection.
