I had a program that needed a complete overhaul. I had hired somebody that came highly recommended from another department. One of the improvements I was trying to achieve was told to be impossible without a complete database overhaul. I reached out to an outside manager that confirmed this as well. I could not complete the project with the previous group. I then reached out to CyberMedics, without exaggeration, by the time I explained to them my "impossible" request, they were able to not only come up with a solution, they implemented it. Absolutely amazed by their work, 5/5 stars does not do them justice.

For a larger company that needs a complete managed service with a lot of employees maybe they are better suited? For a small company sales office like mine, with only 5 employees they were nothing short a nightmare. Techs were all great and very professional. Their billing department and their overall communication were terrible. Their sales team sold us products we never needed and they never followed up on things we actually wanted done. We asked them to address modernizing our office , setting up a cloud based server. Never happened. We had a 15 year old data server with less than 500 Gigs of data on it. We signed up with them in May 2023. We wanted their "monitored" pay as you go service, I asked them to provide what charges would be to set up a cloud based data server based on their own sales team suggestion before we signed up. After 3 attempts over several months, I was finally notified in August they would need to charge us 8 hours of billed time to provide what was needed to do that. This was after they already onboarded us and already had inventory of what we had. Having friends in the IT industry they told me something just didn't sound right and this forced me to educate myself on Microsoft 365 services, which we were already paying for I might add. I came to find out they basically wanted $1200 of extra charges just to tell us to move our data to SharePoint. They sold us an email filter program that they set up and installed which ended up blocking legit emails for our business, then when we needed to get those emails sent to our inbox they charged us billing time to do it, then charged us AGAIN to remove the program entirely when they installed and set up the program and it never worked. They opened tickets on our 15 year data server we were never told about, and then billed us time out of our hours block without ever notifying us about it until we saw the bill. Ultimately over 4 weeks time I moved all our data to SharePoint myself, removed our old data server from our network. Our Microsoft accounts were upgraded and all our employees can now work remotely if they chose with file access anywhere with all the benefits of Microsoft defender and malware endpoint security which has been configured also by myself ( Keep in mind I don’t consider myself an IT expert by any means and was able to do all this on my own with a little bit of research). We’re getting almost no email spam now and our dependency on a 15 year old data server is gone. Sadly this all came with no help from Verity IT and instead thousands of extra dollars in fees for things we never needed that could have been avoided. Now 3 months since terminating our relationship our office data sharing system runs flawlessly and we have had not 1 technical issue.

Verity IT was simply amazing to deal with. When COVID hit we rushed to get our teams to work from home and they were there every step of the way. Now transitioning back into the office they made sure that moving back in was simple and everything was taken care of. Great company to work with and have on your side.

Techspert Services has been integral to our ability to combine our operations and services with technology which puts us several steps ahead of our competitors. The restaurant business is one of the most difficult businesses to operate successfully, and we know that technology drives the current successful business models; Chic fil a, Cafe Rio, Panera, Cheesecake Factory, King's Fish House, etc....Techspert has been able to provide and maintain technologies, both old and new, for us to keep pace and accelerate in the restaurant space. We look forward to our new systems coming that integrate communications, online ordering, with social media and customer engagement via the latest technologies.Online ordering and mobile apps are here to stay and the slow adopters to new technologies will be the first casualties. For example: Sears, Radio Shack, Kodak are examples of success stories cut short by inability to pace with technology.Robert and his team are highly motivated and I highly recommend Techspert for your IT and tech needs.

How do I choose the best Microsoft Office 365 consultant for my business?

Choosing the right Microsoft Office 365 consultant is crucial for maximizing the platform’s benefits and achieving your business goals. A well-executed Office 365 implementation can streamline operations, enhance collaboration, and boost productivity.

To choose the best Microsoft 365 consultant, follow these steps:

  1. Define your goals
Clearly outline what you aim to achieve with Office 365. Do you want to enhance teamwork and communication among employees? Or do you aim to reduce IT expenses? By identifying your primary objectives, you can tailor your Office 365 implementation to meet your specific needs and find the consultant that can accommodate your needs.
  2. Assess your current IT infrastructure
Evaluate your existing IT systems and how they will integrate with Office 365. By doing so, you can identify potential challenges and improvements. This will allow a more holistic understanding of the solutions your system needs.
  3. Research potential consultants
Use search engines like Google and premiere agency listing platforms, such as DesignRush. Our platform, for one, curates a list of consultants and agencies specializing in Office 365 implementation. They provide detailed profiles, client reviews, and project portfolios.
  4. Assess industry experience
Look for Microsoft 365 consultants with a proven track record in the industry and an understanding of the unique challenges and requirements in your sector. See if they have experience with organizations of similar size to yours to assess their ability in handling projects of your scale.
  5. Check certifications
Microsoft certifications validate a consultant's knowledge and proficiency in Office 365. These certifications demonstrate a commitment to staying up to date with the latest platform features and best practices.
  6. Read client testimonials
Look for reviews that highlight their problem-solving abilities, communication skills, project management, and overall client satisfaction. You can also go over the agency’s full profile at DesignRush and see verified feedback from past clients.
  7. Shortlist Microsoft 365 consultants
Create a narrowed-down list of potential consultants based on your research and reach out to them for the partnership. Send a request for proposal (RFP) to provide more specific information about the project.
  8. Get to know the team
Understand their project management style and ability to adapt. Discuss their experience in handling challenges and setbacks. A well-structured approach ensures efficient project execution and effective communication.
  9. Ask for the consultant’s skills
Assess the consultants’ knowledge of Office 365 features relevant to your business goals. For example, if you prioritize collaboration, inquire about their expertise in SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. If security is a top concern, ask about their understanding of Azure AD, Information Protection, and threat management.
  10. Discuss data security
Ensure the consultant prioritizes data protection by inquiring about their security protocols, compliance certifications, and experience in handling sensitive information. Inquire about their approach to data loss prevention, incident response, and data backup.
  11. Ask about post-implementation support
Inquire about the consultants’ ongoing support services, including user training, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. Ask about their availability, response times, and escalation procedures. A reliable support system ensures the continued success of your Office 365 investment.
