That application is in production and Infinum is responsible for maintaining it and further improving. There are two types of work that we would do with Kinematic Digital. One is Sitecore maintenance and operation. Consider that keeping the website up and running on a daily basis. If there are small changes we need to make, like the template of a specific page, make some configuration changes, or sometimes we change the hosting environment, such as upgrading a server, they handle that. Anything related to administration and infrastructure, we delegate to Kinematic Digital.On top of that, when we have strategic projects, we engage with them on a statement of work type of arrangement. A couple of examples of those are we switched our blog platform and the look and feel and design of the blog a couple of years ago, and Kinematic Digital handled that project, so both the design and then the technical side. More recently, we conducted a redesign of the overall branding look and feel of our website, and Kinematic Digital did that, too. They worked on both the design side of it as well as the technical deployment.

We paid $117,000 across two contracts $68,000 for development and $49,000 for marketing to Naked Development for a consumer-ready iOS and Android app and a full marketing funnel.They delivered neither.We originally requested delivery by Black Friday, the most critical sales window for a parent-focused consumer app. Naked Development proposed December as an alternative. That deadline was their own suggestion. They missed it. We extended to January, then February, then April, then issued a formal written Notice of Breach before giving them one final deadline the following June. Every deadline was missed. We were over 300% over timeline.When we finally handed the codebase to a second development firm, the app would not build on either iOS or Android. We paid thousands just to get it running enough to assess the damage. The contracted team was never fully assembled. Tickets were put on hold without explanation. Subscription management, the most critical feature of the app, was broken for months and never fixed by Naked.The commercial video Naked produced was unusable by launch, as cultural references had gone stale during the delay.We are software engineers who have led teams of over 100. These were not minor issues. They were basic, objective engineering failures.When we raised breach concerns with founder John Driscoll, his response was "let's just let our lawyers talk about it."We are aware of more than a dozen other former clients who experienced similar issues. I hired Naked Development in 2022 to build a new version of my mobile app. I paid $203,000 upfront (spread over six months essentially everything I had saved from my first year in business), and was told the app would be completed in five months, by Fall 2022.Instead, the project turned into nearly a year of delays, almost done updates, and declining involvement from their team. My very small internal team and I ended up doing much of the project management and QA work ourselves because progress had stalled so severely. Despite constant reassurances, no functional product was ever delivered.By mid-2023, I hired multiple external development teams to assess the code. Every single one independently concluded that the app was non-functional, unstable, not scalable, and could not be launched. They warned it would crash immediately and required a complete rebuild. I then hired a neutral third-party auditor with zero connection to any agency and his report confirmed the same findings.After paying over $200K, I had nothing usable. When I factored in delays, internal time lost, expert audits, and the cost of rebuilding from scratch, the financial impact to my business exceeded $500,000.After multiple attempts to resolve the situation privately were unsuccessful, I filed a lawsuit, which is now a matter of public record (Superhuman Inc. v. Naked Development). The case is set for trial in early 2026. While litigation is never something a founder hopes for, at a certain point it became the only responsible path given the evidence and the financial damage.I strongly recommend extreme caution when considering this agency.
