B&O Play (slide 1)

B&O Play is a minimalistic Danish company that prides itself on the design and quality of their headphones and speakers. This translates very well to their website from the moment the user lands on the homepage.

The use of large, detailed, and well-placed imagery represents the lifestyle and trendy appeal of their products.

With an asymmetrical layout, smooth parallax animations, and a wonderful color palette, it's hard not to love this page. Another noteworthy aspect of the page is the lack of text, which enables the user to focus on the products and explore the rest of the site for more details.

The product listing page is chic and effective. The images are displayed in a classic grid layout and with a common dark gray background.

A short product name inside the photo, in conjunction with an extended subtitle and description below, ties everything together and keeps the thumbnails clean and concise.

Lastly, the quick and simplified real-time filters on top easily sort products while maintaining the minimalistic appearance that users have become accustomed to.

B&O Play (slide 3)

This is a great example of how to use the full width of a website by extending its functionality and the viewer's engagement.

This page showcases the product, along with its description and a purchase Call to Action on the right side. Bullet points highlight key features of the item, and are much more visually appealing than a long paragraph descriptions.

The most distinguishing factor of this page, though, is the ability to explore the product features and tech specs alongside the image gallery.

Right below the product, there is an "Insights" section where users can learn more about "Sound," "The Companion App," "Materials Used," "Battery," and other functions in a lifestyle-like setting. The "Tech Talk" area also has the spec jargon laid out in easy-to-read segments with iconography, which adds a nice touch for all users.

B&O Play is a clean website design in the E-commerce & Retail and Technology industries.
