2021 UPDATE: This company is just pathetic. They sent us an invoice even if we were not using their so-called "services" for a year anymore. Don't waste your time and money on them.11 MONTHS AGO: We just wasted months of payment since no one can't access our website, email, and cpanel (it happens regularly prior to that). They didn't even bother to help and is not that responsive to email.We also just found out for the second year already that our domain is already expired. No one even bothered to inform us about it. And not to mention that they have a slow loading time.

We engaged Syntactics in late April 2025 for what was sold as a premium, targeted SEO campaign. The onboarding was friendly and confident, and we were told to expect high-quality, niche-relevant, Australian-based backlinks, technical SEO improvements, competitor analysis, and a clear roadmap.Before choosing them, we noticed many positive reviews online. In our opinion, a large number of these appear to be from employees or otherwise not genuine, so we would strongly encourage potential clients to look beyond the star rating and read the details.The reality for us was the opposite of what was promised, and the screenshots below speak for themselves:Organic traffic fell by 370 visits per month after engagementTop-ranking keywords in positions 1 to 3 dropped sharplySite health score fell from the high 90s before Syntactics to 55(Screenshots from Ahrefs attached)What Went WrongPerformance Declines After EngagementThese drops happened after Syntactics began their work. There is no reasonable way to present this as a “foundation month” when the actual result was a backward step in rankings, traffic, and site health.Backlink Strategy MisrepresentedWe were promised Australian-based, industry-relevant backlinks. Instead, we received links from irrelevant forums and free blog platforms like Tumblr, Blogspot, and JustPaste. These had no topical or geographical relevance and were not what we agreed to.Key Deliverables Missing or LateCompetitor analysis and keyword gap strategy were never deliveredOnly 2 blogs in the first month instead of 3 as promisedKeyword targeting fell short of the 16 to 25 agreedTechnical SEO reporting was vague until repeatedly requestedPoor CommunicationMeetings were missed or started late. Early reporting was high-level and avoided key performance issues. The NSW-only geo restriction in our structured data was never disclosed and was only discovered by our new SEO consultant.The OutcomeDespite multiple opportunities to correct the work, the campaign failed to deliver on the core promises. I waited for three months without doing any work within the company and without a contract, and when I inquired about the situation, I did not receive any clear answers; I was simply asked to wait, hoping that there would be a project for us to work on.As the end of the trial period approached, I was informed that there were no available projects, which caused my time to be wasted without any benefit. They also lack professionalism and transparency in their dealings, which made the experience even worse.Therefore, I advise everyone to be cautious before joining this company and to ensure that there are actual projects available before making any decisions, in order to avoid wasting time.

I was ghosted after I was verbally offered a job over the phone.On March 7, 2024, a recruiter contacted me, stating that she came across my application via LinkedIn. At that time, I had already received a job offer from another company but hadn't committed to it as I was exploring different opportunities. When asked by the recruiter if I had any pending applications elsewhere, I honestly disclosed that I had a pending job offer but had not yet accepted it. The recruiter then discussed the job position, salary package, and shift schedule then I expressed my interest to procced. She then scheduled me for an interview with the hiring managers.On March 8, 2024, I completed my initial interview, assessment, and final interview. On the same date, the recruiter contacted me to inform me that I had successfully passed the interviews. She mentioned that the job offer would be extended to me within the same day. She asked me whether I could start on March 18, 2024 and I confirmed my availability for that date.I immediately notified the other company via email that I was withdrawing my application. Explained the reason and they acknowledged my decision.Despite the assurance that the job offer will be rolled out within that day, I did not receive the said job offer.The day after, the recruiter followed up with me, explaining that the job offer was still pending as the client haven't signed it. She apologized for the delay and advised me to keep me updated.On March 14, four days prior to the said start date, I contacted the recruiter to inquire about the status of the job offer, the recruiter provided an update, indicating that it's still pending as it has not yet signed by the client. She assured me she would keep me informed. However, after that communication, I did not receive any further updates despite my attempts to reach out to the recruiter.I was left frustrated and disappointed. I waited patiently for more than a month, hopeful to receive communication from them, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response.If for any reason, client did not sign the contract or they found someone else for the job, they could have at least informed me.I waisted my time and the job opportunity from other company in favor with them. Very unprofessional!

I recently applied for the Senior QA Automation Engineer position at iScale Solutions and was promptly sent a technical assessment, which included both manual and automation exams. I dedicated my entire weekend to completing the assessment, putting in my best effort to showcase my skills and suitability for the role.However, after submitting the assessment, I waited patiently for an update on my application status. Unfortunately, despite receiving confirmation of the assessment's receipt, I did not hear back from the recruiter for an entire week. Despite reaching out via email and text message to inquire about the status of my application, I did not receive a single response.As a candidate, I understand that not every application will lead to success, and I'm perfectly fine with that outcome. What's crucial, though, is clear and timely communication from the hiring team. Even if the outcome was unfavorable, a simple acknowledgment of my efforts and feedback on the assessment would have been greatly appreciated.This lack of communication reflects poorly on the professionalism and respect that should be extended to all candidates. While I value transparency in the recruitment process, I was disappointed by the complete silence from iScale Solutions' recruitment team.In the future, I hope iScale Solutions and its recruiters prioritize better communication practices to ensure a more positive candidate experience. Clear and timely updates, even if it's to convey disappointing news, can make a significant difference in how candidates perceive the company and its hiring process.

Emapta has been great so far. Prior to joining the company, I have been hearing about the "Emapta Experience", and this becomes evident even before I officially started with the company. It had been a very smooth process overall.They have plenty of offices, all of which look as if it came straight out of a magazine.
