We brought RGray in for startup marketing and growth marketing for a FinTech SaaS platform we had built for a client, an early stage startup with a finished product and almost no market presence. RGray started with their startup marketing foundation: market and competitor research, positioning and messaging, and a growth strategy built on three prioritized hypotheses, each with its own funnel and success metrics. They then implemented the channels: SEO, GEO for visibility inside AI search and AI assistants, PR and digital media, and paid user acquisition to test the funnels fast. Analytics and attribution were in place from the start.They also built AI into the daily marketing work: a custom multi agent system using Claude, Grok, Perplexity and Gemini for research, content production and localization, handed over with workflows, prompts and checklists. Two of the three hypotheses proved out, so we elaborated those two and their funnels. CAC started at $31 and fell to $16 by the end of the test campaign, below the industry average. The campaign brought around 2,500 activated users, which boosted revenue and gave us real data for funnel, user and product analysis. The client finished with a working acquisition system and the documentation to run it, not a set of campaigns. Project management was on time and on budget: weekly calls, a shared board with owners and deadlines, monthly reporting against the strategy metrics, same day answers. When our client's roadmap moved, they resequenced the plan in days. Most impressive: they think like product owners, not like a service agency, and they challenged our ICP and pricing assumptions correctly. One improvement: the early reports were denser than we needed, and they added an executive summary once we asked.

This led to a significant portion of the billed hours being allocated to research and development tasks that a Squarespace-proficient team might have completed much more efficiently.Design Quality: Additionally, the quality of the design work delivered was below par. I found myself needing to step in and handle the majority of the design work, which was unexpected and time-consuming.Communication Breakdown: There were also communication issues, particularly with the VP of Sales, who often seemed unaware of our previous email exchanges. This resulted in repetitive conversations and a general feeling of inefficiency.Billing Concerns: My greatest concern was with the billing structure. I was charged based on hours spent, which, given the lack of Squarespace expertise, led to unnecessary costs for my business without delivering the expected results.Advice to Potential Clients: For those considering Concetto Labs, I recommend requesting detailed case studies of their work, particularly in your specific field. Its also crucial to communicate your expectations clearly to avoid similar situations.Conclusion: In summary, while I believe Concetto Labs might have the potential for good work, my experience was far from satisfactory. It involved minimal output for maximal time investment and financial expenditure, which was especially challenging during my business's start-up phase. It was a costly enterprise engaging their services and I would never recommend their services.

Written promises, undelivered work, and a takedown threat. I am 70 and have operated Custom Sports Cards (CSC) for approximately 25 years. This has been my worst business transaction. I contacted Web Design Mechanic in October 2025 solely for a website for my pet nonprofit. WDM proposed the CSC rebuild; I did not approach them for it. After my Trustpilot review, WDM threatened in writing to take my websites down unless I removed it within two hours. My project manager repeatedly confirmed in writing that he had everything needed. In December 2025, WDM wrote that everything was ready to launch; in January 2026, that the AI was ready. Yet in July, they emailed asking for more details about Pet Trading Cards and the membership site. CSC launched with serious problems and incomplete work. Pet Trading Cards and the membership site were not delivered. The written AI offer promised unlimited use without token limits or additional usage charges. WDM later wrote that this was not practical. I have neither the AI on the promised terms nor a refund. I consider this a bait-and-switch. WDM has not acknowledged wrongdoing. My contract specified three years of AWS hosting for $4,449. WDM wrote that the president was in a good mood and added two years. I later discovered my website's server was with OVHcloud and provided OVHcloud with WDM's AWS sales documents. Capital One declined my initial payment. A representative told me by phone that the decline related to numerous complaints associated with the merchant. WDM then sent a different PayPal link, which worked. The payment appeared under M & F Collaboration Inc., although I contracted with WDM. I am contacting the FBI to report suspected fraud involving the hosting and AI sales and will provide my contracts, payment records, and written communications. I paid based on written promises that remain unfulfilled. I cannot recommend WDM.
