Digital Marketing Review from Sean Henke

Anderson Collaborative runs our marketing reporting, google ads, marketing, and supports our digital and print design. They feel like part of our team. Anderson Collaborative's team are sharp and on top of all the ad spend movements and tweaks, especially Nazareno and Trevor. Naz's advice regularly catches things we missed and points out dynamics for our team to chew on. Anderson Collaborative's design and editing team also adapts very well. Carolina helped us re-design our entire original cookbook to digital and hardcopy format, including an entire re-design to a different book size. Not easy to do, and they nailed it. They're now helping guide us through a TikTok Shop launch. When we disagree, they talk it through with us and we land somewhere that works. If you want an agency that cares about your business and can help in a lot of different areas, I'd recommend them highly

    • Steve Canfield
Steve Canfield Co-Founder at The Curious Thing
      5.0★

Digital Marketing Review from Steve Canfield

We brought Anderson Collaborative in to run Meta ads for The Curious Thing, our personalized portrait gift shop, after months of trying to figure it out on our own. On day one Trevor delivered a full funnel plan and a clean campaign structure, and he has kept sharpening it since: moving our campaigns to optimize for actual purchases, sending every ad straight to a create page with the right style and product already picked, and giving new creative its own budget so each test gets a fair read. What stands out most is how deep he goes. He dug through our pixel data and even our code to explain a shift in what customers were buying, worked out which audiences had really driven sales, and his reported numbers match our own payment records exactly. When we flag something, it gets handled quickly and explained clearly, and every update tells us what changed, why, and when we will review it. It is a genuine pleasure working with Trevor and the team. They feel like a partner who cares about our business, not just a vendor running ads. Highly recommend. Full disclosure: my wife previously worked at the agency. We now hire them directly as a paying client.

Digital Marketing Review from Wendy Watson

I highly recommend Anderson Collaborative. Trevor created a beautiful logo package for my company, Summer Salt Gymnastics. My company logo is better than I envisioned. He included horizontal and stacked versions in main colors, solid colors, and black/white for the logo package. He answered all of my messages and emails in a timely manner and put together many drafts until we reached the final product. Thank you Anderson Collaborative and Trevor for your communication, quality, and creativity.

Frequently Asked Questions About UI/UX Design Companies in the USA

What services do UI/UX design companies in the USA offer?

They offer strategic, research-driven, and user-focused services, including:

  • UX research and strategy
  • Information architecture and user flow
  • Wireframing and prototyping
  • User interface (UI) design
  • Usability testing and iteration
  • Design system and documentation

In addition to these common services, many UI/UX design companies in the USA offer graphic design, motion design and animation, accessibility and compliance support, UX audit, and consultancy services.

What is the difference between user interface and user experience design?

A user interface design (UI design) focuses on what users see and interact with. It includes layout, typography, color, iconography, interactive components, and design systems.

On the other hand, user experience design (UX design) prioritizes how the product works for users, including user research, journey mapping, personas, problems, definition, information architecture, user flows, and usability testing and iteration.

When should you consider hiring a specialized UI/UX design company versus a full-service agency?

Consider hiring a specialized UI/UX design company in the USA if you are focusing on product usability, user flows, or interface design, such as redesigning a website user experience. These companies have deeper expertise in research methods, prototyping tools, and usability testing.

Choose a full-service agency when you need UI/UX design bundled with branding or development. Full-service companies offer convenience and continuity across disciplines, but their UX work may be handled by generalists rather than dedicated specialists.

How long do UI/UX design projects normally take?

Project timelines tend to scale with the complexity and scope of the engagement:

  • Smaller UX design efforts (like audits, interface refreshes, or lightweight UX engagements) are usually completed within 2 weeks to 3 months.
  • Standard UI/UX design projects for websites or mobile apps typically span 3 to 5 months.
  • Larger and more complex projects can take over 6 months.

What questions should you ask before hiring a UI UX design agency in the USA?

The following questions can help assess whether an agency is equipped to deliver meaningful, user-centered outcomes for your product.

Relevant Background

  1. What types of products or industries do you specialize in?
  2. Can you share UX case studies similar to my tech stack, design style, and project requirements? What were the measurable results?
  3. How do you validate design decisions?

Services and Processes

  1. Can you walk me through your end-to-end design process?
  2. How do you create a design system for long-term scalability?
  3. How do you approach quality assurance, testing, and security?
  4. How do you address accessibility and compliance requirements?

Related to Your Project

  1. How will you ensure that your designs align with my brand and target users?
  2. What tools, assets, and deliverables are included in my project package? Who owns these components after product launch?
  3. What does post-launch support or iteration look like? Does this include developer handoffs?

What deliverables should you expect by the end of your project?

Expect to receive the following deliverables from your USA UI/UX design agency:

  • User research findings
  • Information architecture (e.g., sitemaps and user flows)
  • Wireframes
  • High-fidelity visual designs
  • Interactive prototype
