I was there at Perceptive Analytics for a while. During that time I had the opportunity to work with the CEO very closely. The man built the company from ground up all by himself. He once taught me some grammar in english, that's how much interest he took in me while I worked there. I happened to work with some of the most smartest and talented people from amazing institutions there. My advice if someone wants to work there is to be super smart or super hardworking.... Or at the very least learn to work with such kind to be like that. Thanks Chaitanya for everything.

All in all, the experience was fun and leaves you with memories you cherish for the rest of your life.

I have worked at Perceptive Analytics for approximately 10 months and my time at the company was awesome, to say the least.I have learnt a lot about sales and marketing which will be helpful for me going ahead. I have interacted with many clients and potential clients as well, and I got to learn a lot from these interactions.I also had a lot of freedom to experiment in my role, which was instrumental in enhancing my experience. The tasks I attended to were not limited to a specific domain but that only helped in increasing the potential of the job and though challenging, the role was equally rewarding for me.The work atmosphere is very good and the hours are very flexible. All the policies of the company are explained to the employees well in advance so as to avoid any confusion. The only problem that I've come across is that at times, you may have to work a little extra during peak season: like working for a while over the weekend or staying back for a while after working hours. On such occasions, work-life balance would take a hit. Work from home policy helps in these cases, though.I would definitely recommend working at Perceptive Analytics.

Plaudit absolutely knocked it out of the park on the redesign and development of our new corporate website! Not only did they exceed our project goals, they provided superior guidance and project management every step of the way. Plaudit took point in managing the project schedule, defining key milestones, preparing asset management and feedback tools, offering custom training videos and live demos, pursuing new and better solutions, ensuring a seamless launch, and providing post-launch training and instruction. I note these numerous areas of support as they took significant work off of my plate. This gave me and the team capacity to stay focused on content and internal input, trusting Plaudit to handle the rest. It is that end-to-end process ownership that sets them apart, and I'm thrilled we made the choice to select Plaudit as our website partner.

Why should I hire an eCommerce marketing agency near me?
You should hire an eCommerce marketing agency near you because it offers a better understanding of your local market, consumer preferences, and competition. Being close allows for faster response times and easier collaboration, which is crucial for adapting strategies quickly in the fast-paced world of eCommerce. Additionally, a local agency may have connections with regional vendors, influencers, and partners, helping to expand your brand’s reach within your area.
Some of the advantages of local eCommerce marketing agencies include:
Local market expertise A local eCommerce agency understands your regional customers' buying behaviors, trends, and preferences. For example, if your store targets New York shoppers, the agency can tailor campaigns to attract local online buyers, using insights into seasonal demand, popular products, and regional shopping habits.
Specialized eCommerce capabilities Local agencies in major hubs like New York often specialize in eCommerce, offering advanced solutions like conversion rate optimization, personalized customer experiences, and omnichannel marketing strategies. Their focus on digital commerce helps you solve complex challenges like cart abandonment and online traffic generation.
Skilled talent pool Local eCommerce marketing agencies have access to a talent pool of professionals experienced in areas like SEO for online stores, paid search, product listing optimization, and data-driven marketing. This expertise ensures your campaigns are designed to boost online sales and enhance your eCommerce performance.
Local network advantage Regional eCommerce marketing agencies have connections with local influencers, affiliate marketers, and relevant media outlets, allowing your store to increase brand awareness. These connections can help amplify your online presence, boosting your credibility with local consumers.
Personalized and immediate support Having an eCommerce agency close by allows for faster, more personalized support. You can quickly meet in person to discuss strategies, analyze performance, or adjust campaigns quickly to stay responsive to market changes. This is critical for eCommerce, where fast adjustments can be the difference between meeting or missing sales targets.
Community-driven eCommerce campaigns A local agency will understand your regional audience's specific values and interests and can help your eCommerce business connect through local events, partnerships, or charitable initiatives. These community-driven efforts can improve brand loyalty and engagement with your online store.

What should I look for in a New York eCommerce Marketing agency?
You should look for a New York eCommerce marketing agency with a proven track record of success in driving online sales for businesses. Ensure they have expertise in SEO, PPC advertising, and social media marketing, along with a strong understanding of eCommerce platforms and tools.
Here are several key factors you need to consider:
Proven track record in New York The eCommerce marketing agency should have an established record of successful projects from businesses across New York and neighboring regions. Look for reviews and testimonials from local clients in commercial hotspots like Park Avenue, SoHo, Greenpoint, and the Flatiron and Financial Districts.
Experience with diverse demographics The agency should have a keen understanding of the different customer demographics that make up New York, whether it’s high-end clients from Manhattan or the Hamptons, the blue-collar suburbanites of Staten Island, or the multicultural neighborhoods of Queens. It should be able to create campaigns and online storefronts that support multiple languages and are sensitive to various cultural nuances.
Industry connections The eCommerce marketing company should also have connections with local media outlets, content creators, and other notable industry personalities to help boost your brand’s visibility. It should appeal to diverse crowds, from designer fashion aficionados in Fifth Avenue to night market foodies in the Bronx.
eCommerce expertise Look for agencies with extensive experience in eCommerce marketing. A plus is a history of partnerships with New York e-commerce companies, especially with major local players like GrubHub, Squarespace, and Checkout.com.
Specialized services for the NY market New York has a thriving eCommerce sector that covers industries ranging from fashion, food and beverage, home goods, and tech and software solutions. Your marketing agency should be able to tailor strategies and services according to your local market, including optimizing your storefront, creating highly localized “near me” searches like “Italian restaurants near me in Harlem,” and crafting localized content that resonates with New Yorkers.
Knowledge of local regulations The agency should also be well-versed and compliant with the various advertising regulations, data privacy laws, and other legal restrictions specific to New York. These include the New York City Consumer Protection Law, the SHIELD (Stop Hacks and Improve Electronic Data Security) Act, the False Advertising Law, and the Child Data Protection Act (CDPA).
What should I avoid when hiring a New York eCommerce Marketing agency?
When hiring a New York eCommerce marketing agency, avoid firms that lack eCommerce expertise or experience in New York’s competitive market. Steer clear of firms that offer generic, one-size-fits-all strategies or make unrealistic promises about quick results. Watch out for agencies with poor communication, vague reporting, or unclear pricing structures. Additionally, avoid those that don’t tailor their services to your specific business needs or have rigid contracts that limit flexibility.
Pay attention to the following factors:
Lack of experience Agencies with no local eCommerce experience might lack the knowledge of trends, customer demographics, and other nuances essential to success in New York markets.
Unrealistic or broad promises Agencies that make unrealistic guarantees often indicate a lack of credibility, which can lead to disappointment and frustration by the client if those goals are not met. Broad claims can also mean a lack of a clear marketing strategy and often mask hidden costs or limitations.
Outdated local industry knowledge An eCommerce marketing company that doesn’t stay on top of the latest eCommerce trends and technologies relevant to the New York market might put your business at a competitive disadvantage.
Limited networks An eCommerce marketing company without established relationships with the New York media and influencer scene might struggle to reach out through these communities and miss out on opportunities to expand your brand’s reach.
Focus on short-term gains Companies that lack long-term strategies might be unable to scale their services with your business as it grows. Their work may also lead to stagnating customer relationships or even exposure to unethical business practices.
Hidden costs Beware of agencies that are not transparent about their pricing. This could lead to budget overruns and legal headaches in the long run.
