When I first approached them, they were immediately going to bat for my vision because they cared not just about making my vision come true, but to do it in an economical, feasible, and intelligent way. My journey with Analogy started off with the feasibility study to scope out all potential methods to make my product vision a reality. This feasibility study was instrumental for two reasons: 1. As a first time founder, I had no idea where to even start thinking. I only had a solution in my mind, but the actual product to realize that solution needed deep study. Product creation is necessarily a process of elimination journey. This is where the first half of the feasibility study helped us narrow down potential solutions based on their utility, cost, uniqueness, and legal compliance requirements. Trust me, these are not things that you can think up by yourself. You need professionals with a wealth of experience to help nurture your idea. This helped us identify a narrower range of solutions, something I could never think of myself. 2. The engineering team then created mock designs and took me through the various features of each of them so that I had full agency over the creation of my product. Not only did that help me fine tune my idea, it also showed just how much work goes into choosing a direction. You do not want to be in a position where you are close to going to market and you realize there is a better way to do what you wanted to do.
