We saw Blues Junior in the Boom Room and were blown away with their talent. The vocals and saxophonist especially were impressive. The wide variety of songs they are able to perform make them stand apart from your typical event bands. They did everything from the Grateful Dead to a country song- appealing to all genres. I would highly recommend Blues Junior for any event.

Perhaps there are other things they do well. We hired 829 to build our website & it was by far one of the most ridiculous experiences I’ve ever faced. Staff was incompetent & condescending for good measure. They took a year and change to deliver a site that is horrifyingly unstable. Horrible.Edit: so many 5 star reviews should make one suspicious. They gave me more attention in an effort to get me to delete this review than when we genuinely needed it. Really horrible organization and I use my experience with them often as a cautionary tale. To recap: 829 offered services they were unqualified to deliver, overcharged for those and spent more time trying to upsell and pad their team with as many warm bodies as they could charge us for. Still salty about it…

Our team chose 829 after interviewing many agencies for the complete rebrand, new website build, SEO improvements, and PR guidance and strategy. Collaborating on the design of the website was surprisingly productive, we needed one or two additional rounds then was first planned and we ended up with a design we all agreed delivered on the requested notes. From brand to website, clean and fresh aesthetic. Our SEO performance was immediately light years improved and continued to grow. Over two months later, I’ve received no deliverables, no active campaigns, and no response to multiple emails or phone calls. Missed key sales periods like Memorial Day without any explanation or action. I ultimately had to terminate the relationship and request a full refund.
