As a newly established educational non-profit, we needed full support--website development, a logo, branding, email, etc. We could not have found a better partner than New Target, Inc. They are the consummate professionals. They were fully present and always available for questions and feedback. We were always included in the design process. The New Target, Inc. team was always attentive, they offered great recommendations, they listened, and they made us feel valued throughout the entire process. We look forward to a long relationship with their team. We highly recommend the talented staff at New Target, Inc. to any organization needing digital support. David Dumas Sr. Manager of IT at MATHCOUNTS Foundation
5.0★
Web Design Review from David Dumas
We have been working with New Target over 5 years ago and have been extremely happy with the services they have provided. We selected them to redesign our Drupal website and then provide ongoing support related to design, development, and hosting. Some of requirements of the redesign project included: a multi-program registration portal, integration with 3rd party systems (QuickBooks, Salesforce, payment platforms), merging content/users from a second website into our main one, and redeveloping a custom test scoring and reporting tool used by volunteers. Our website is utilized by several distinct constituent groups, and addressing their very different needs often requires complex functionality and workflows. Their team has been excellent at navigating these challenges and implementing systems that satisfy user requirements. It has been a great experience partnering with New Target, and I would highly recommend them to others.
Meara Cummings Marketing Support at NAEMA (North American Energy Markets Association)

Digital Strategy Review from Meara Cummings
We've had a fantastic experience working with the New Target team so far in our rebranding project. This is the first formal rebrand in the organizations history, so it was critical to get it right. From day one, Hannah (account manager) and Rachel (lead designer) brought a thoughtful, collaborative, and incredibly well-structured approach to the process. They have worked seamlessly with our rebrand committee, balancing creative exploration with clear communication and deadlines that kept us moving forward. After this strategic and thoughtful approach has resulted in a modern new logo and comprehensive brand guidelines that truly capture the spirit of the association. We are so grateful for their partnership and would highly recommend New Target to any organization looking for a creative / digital partner!

When I launched my luxury brand, I needed more than just a production company; I needed a creative partner who could translate elegance and form into pure visual poetry. Nomadigo delivered beyond expectation. From the sheen of silk, satin and velour every shot was a perfect shot. They understood that my designs weren’t just meant to be seen—they were meant to be felt.Beyond the visuals, their direction was impeccable. They didn’t just film; they sculpted each moment—guiding the models with precision to ensure that every movement, every pose, amplified the grace and structure of each piece. The result? A campaign that radiates the essence of luxury, where every frame tells a story of confidence, powerful women, and timeless beauty. For a brand that lives and breathes aesthetics and luxury, Nomadigo isn’t just a production team—they are artists in their own right. If you need to showcase luxury in its purest form, this is the only team to trust.

Next-Level Adventure Filmmaking—Nomadigo DeliversIn the world of extreme adventure, capturing the thrill, speed, and raw adrenaline of off-road tours isn’t easy. Most production crews would struggle to keep up—Nomadigo thrived.I’ve never seen a team so dialed into the technical and physical demands of high-speed adventure filmmaking. They rigged motorcycles and chase vehicles to capture jaw-dropping footage from angles I didn’t even think were possible. Watching them strap cameras to cars flying across rugged terrain, I kept thinking, there’s no way that gear survives this—but it did. That’s what professionals do.The final edits? Insane. Slow-motion dust clouds, water spraying up through the air, perfectly-timed speed ramps, and a music score that gets your heart racing before you even step into a vehicle. It was exactly what we wanted—even before we knew it was possible. If you want extreme adventure captured with precision, Nomadigo is the only team I’d trust.

Patrick Hoy TV Presenter & Voice Artist at Patrick H Hoy
5.0★
Voiceover Review from Patrick Hoy
I have been a professional TV Presenter for over a decade, but was now looking at expanding the work I do to include Voiceover work. As such, I needed a highly professional & compelling set of Voiceover showreels produced for me to use as a calling card to find Agent representation in this area...as well as to share with Production companies who could potentially hire me for voiceover work. I worked with Synima to lay down 10 tracks at one of their studios. Upon completion of the actual recording, I then immediately met with the assigned team to discuss the additional audio enhancements I wanted them to include in the finished product. While I definitely had specific ideas and instructions for what enhancements I believed I wanted in the deliverables, I felt confident that the team I was working with fully understood my vision...AND that they themselves were extremely creative, and that they would definitely be able to add additional value to the vision I had. My instinct was absolutely correct about this, and the final two showreels that they delivered to me exceeded my expectations! I have shared the work they did for me with many others, and they too have been as impressed with the work. I was very satisfied with the entire process from start to finish - and I honestly look forward to working with Synima again in the future.
Piers Henriques PhD Director at Nacoa UK
5.0★
Digital Marketing Review from Piers Henriques PhD
We worked with Synima on a celebrity-led feature series exploring the issues of alcohol and the family. Our national charity was looking for a partner for our ambassador to film nine documentary quality one-minute films, each telling a personal story and ending on a call to action. From the outset and on first meeting, Synima were incredible partners for the project. They understood the brief as a direct appeal, and ran with the strength of initial pitch. The creative team then had the skills and expertise to hugely enhance the original vision and carry the process with calm and enthusiastic professionalism . The final product was of an outstanding quality, delivered on time and any wrinkles quickly ironed out. The campaign is still ongoing but has generated well over one and a half million *organic* views. Fantastic conversions in terms of service awareness and CTA sign ups. Our celebrity influencer was delighted with the material as overall content and is keen to come back for more. Which we definitely will in the new year.

Igor Shcherbachenya CEO at Reviewly
5.0★
Startup Review from Igor Shcherbachenya
We contacted the Third-Dimension to perform WEB design for a new service, which includes a WEB application and a browser extension. The work was divided into several stages, which is very convenient and allows you to follow the order of work. At the first stage, the Third-Dimension collected information about the project and wishes regarding the design. At the second stage, the Third-Dimension assessed existing applications and provided references (sketches) of the design. After choosing a direction, the designer provided draft page designs and app designs for approval. Once agreed upon, the final design was implemented and several rounds of revisions were made.I would like to note the Third-Dimension ability not just to "do the job and forget", but to immerse itself in the area and problems that the project solves. In the process of work, in addition to the design, some functions that were proposed by the Third-Dimension team were also adjusted or added. All deadlines and wishes were respected.I definitely recommend the studio for cooperation and will work with the studio again. Very professional approach.

Allyson Burroughs Vice President, Brand, Digital, and Communications at Ricoh North America
5.0★
Integrated Marketing Review from Allyson Burroughs
I had the pleasure of working with Modo Modo Agency in 2022, when I was responsible for the complete renovation of Ricoh North America's brand narrative and visual design system, across all channels and all audiences. There were three immediately necessary elements - 1) internal communications materials about the overhaul of the brand narrative in order to build trust and enthusiasm internally for the new strategic direction of the company, 2) recruitment marketing assets to attract new talent to the organization very rapidly, and 3) go-to-market assets for multiple vertical industries where Ricoh was strategically focused on specific levels of growth.Modo Modo Agency helped me lead the charge by generating extremely valuable internal communications materials, visual design system assets, manager and leadership guides and more to help with evangelizing internally the evolved brand narrative and the new strategic plan set forth by the CEO. They also created a significant number recruitment marketing assets for a number of digital channels to help build excitement around the brand, attract talent, and encourage employment applications for the significant number of open positions the company needed to fill. Lastly, we worked closely on GTM initiatives across paid and owned channels for the specific vertical industries Ricoh had identified in their strategic growth plan. The team is strategic, focused on meeting business objectives, and delivering on the critical KPIs of each program. This is our first year at Peach Bowl, Inc. working with Modo Modo. In fact, we're literally months into our business relationship.I'll be able to provide a more thorough review later, but we have found Modo Modo to be an intensely engaged agency. They have very talented people in the design chairs and the account management team. They've been extremely responsive in terms of learning how we like to work, and reacting accordingly. We made the decision to leave one agency and sign on with Modo Modo, and the best thing I can say at this point is that we are not disappointed in our decision. We've seen and are expecting top-shelf work from them.

KM Digital – Veritas embarked on a mission to take our online presence to the next level. We sought out a partner who understood the nuances in the digital space, had the depth of bench and creative insight that would bring to the virtual world what we produce in the physical realm. The entire team of creative professionals at KM Digital completely exceeded our expectations for what was possible. From our first meeting with co-founder Chris Mizerak, it became abundantly clear these folks were something special. During the initial interview process, Lauren was insightful, thoughtful, and on-point with her questions to gather information about who Veritas is. She captured our ethos, our culture, and our aspirations masterfully. Through the process, the entire team has been the most creative, professional, and insightful group of talented individuals we have had the pleasure of partnering with. A special shout out to Julie for keeping us on track, to Scott for his ability to capture our essence with his videography skills, to Christina for making sure we stayed connected to the process, to Sammy for capturing the beautiful images, to Nic who seems to always just put the right touch on the graphics, and to Riley and Julian for helping to make all this come together. If you’re looking to partner with a team of digital media and marketing professionals that will blow you away, look no further than KM Digital.

Thank you, Episode 11!It’s hard to capture in words what a summer camp experience means to kids. A very “regular" experience like summer camp is even more meaningful for kids with unique medical conditions. Since 2010 Camp LUCK has provided a positive experience that helps everyone reach their potential by building self-esteem, friendships and character in a safe environment. We want our “heart kids” to be “regular kids” for a week and participate in awesome activities that they might not normally be able to. Episode 11 volunteered to capture that experience — and did so — through the words and pictures of some of our campers. The campers’ candid interviews are a powerful reminder of what Camp LUCK means to these kids and their families. And without question, the video documents how much fun they have just being kids.

An explainer video company is a company that creates short, compelling videos to simplify complex ideas, demonstrate instructions for product use, or describe service offers. It produces moving content that effectively communicates a brand's message to its intended viewers in a visually appealing and easily digestible format.
By focusing on clarity and engagement, an explainer video production company helps businesses educate customers, drive conversions, and address the following challenges:
Difficulty in conveying intricate or technical concepts
Inability to deliver professional-looking, well-produced videos
Lack of educational content that can answer common customer queries
Weak engagement reflected in low view count, limited watch time, and high bounce rates
Failure to communicate clear branding and value propositions
Difficulties in enhancing conversion, optimization, and online visibility
Issues with adapting content formats to different platforms
Thanks to their proven effectiveness, explainer videos remain a vital tool for business growth, with nearly 70% of sales professionals stating these outperform other content types in generating conversions. Moreover, 88% of marketers incorporate video formats into their strategies, and the same percentage report that this form of content enhances users’ understanding of services and products.
Success Story
The following case study, handpicked by our expert team, showcases how a professional studio can effectively engage audiences with clearly conveyed messaging:
Challenge: Nissan faced hurdles in executing traditional marketing strategies due to social distancing and live-shoot restrictions during the pandemic. The automotive giant aimed to promote its "Safety First" campaign but struggled to find an effective method to reach its audience under the constraints.
Solution:Motiongility created an animated explainer video to effectively relay Nissan’s safety initiatives. It developed a storyboard to ensure a smooth flow of visuals and illustrations aligned with the client's brand image. The agency's animation process focused on maintaining visual appeal and neat transitions to sustain viewers’ attention. A professional voice-over was added to humanize the brand and give the video a distinctive personality.
Results: The final product was a 62-second explainer video animation that successfully captured Nissan’s safety message, as indicated by the increase in the following metrics:
Social ad impressions: 602,384
Video views: 378,587
Clicks to Nissan's website: nearly 1,500
"Safety First" web page views: 7,448
What do explainer video companies do?
Explainer video companies combine animation, narration, and dynamic visuals to break intricate concepts into understandable messages. These videos are valuable tools for businesses looking to enhance their marketing, sales, and communication strategies.
The style of an explainer video can vary depending on the client's needs, ranging from animated characters and motion graphics to live-action and whiteboard animations. Explainer videos help audiences quickly grasp information by simplifying intricate topics, which makes them an essential asset in a rapidly changing digital world.
The key explainer video services include:
Scriptwriting and storyboarding Developing a clear script and outlining the video's visual flow
Animation and motion graphics Designing custom 2D/3D/whiteboard animations and graphics that align with the brand's identity
Voiceover and sound design Providing professional voiceover artists to narrate the video and integrating sound effects or music to enhance the content's emotional appeal
Video production Producing live-action footage, if needed, and integrating it with other visual components
Video editing Ensuring the videos' engaging flow, smooth transitions, and optimal pacing
Revisions and feedback integration Refining the video according to client feedback and ensuring the final product meets the client’s expectations and goals
Custom branding Incorporating the client’s branding elements like logos, colors, and fonts into the video so it aligns with the overall brand strategy and messaging
Distribution and optimization Offering the video in different formats accessible on various devices to maximize reach and impact via websites, social media, and email campaigns
Analytics and performance tracking Evaluating viewer engagement metrics to gauge the video’s effectiveness
Success Story
Demoflick's success story showcases how tailored explainer video services and strategies helped Office Depot more vividly describe its diverse product range:
Challenge: With an extensive catalog of products and services, Office Depot needed a way to educate website visitors and minimize user confusion. It enlisted Demoflick to develop content that would provide detailed product information and improve customer understanding, ultimately increasing conversions.
Solution: Demoflick produced a series of videos emphasizing product benefits and high-value propositions. It also created "How To" guides with step-by-step instructions for navigating the Office Depot website. The explainer videos covered Office Depot’s offerings, such as the Flex Plan, Free Same Day In-Store Pickup, Store Purchasing Cards, Workspace Interiors, and the Order by Number eCommerce feature.
Results: Within 1 year of collaboration, DemoFlick produced over 40 explainer videos for Office Depot, significantly improving consumer knowledge about the client’s products and services. These videos helped strengthen the company's position as an innovative, tech-driven supplier in its market.
How long does it take to create an explainer video?
Creating an explainer video typically takes between four to eight weeks. This timeline can vary depending on factors such as:
Complexity
Content quality
Client feedback
Number of revisions
The length of the final output is another factor to consider. Here's a breakdown of the time required to produce the video, depending on its duration:
Basic explainer video (1 to 2 minutes): 4 to 6 weeks The process includes scriptwriting, storyboarding, voiceover recording, animation, final editing, and revisions.
Complex explainer video (2 to 3 minutes and more): >6 weeks This may involve intricate animations, multiple characters, 3D elements, custom illustrations, and extensive revisions.
How much do explainer video agencies charge for their services?
The pricing depends on the explainer video type, duration, topic complexity, and number of revisions. The agency’s reputation and size also affect production fees. For instance, a smaller studio may charge $2,000 to $6,000 per minute for basic 2D animations, while a larger studio's price may start at $5,000 and go as high as $10,000 per minute for a similar output.
Here’s a general overview of the average pricing per minute, depending on the video type:
The top 50 explainer video agencies on DesignRush charge an average of $89 per hour. 18.5% of these studios are open to projects with a budget under $1,000, making them accessible to smaller businesses and startups. Conversely, 1.4% accept projects with a minimum budget of $50,000, providing businesses with high-end production quality, tailored storytelling, and strategic content that enhances visibility and interaction.
Why should I hire an explainer video agency?
You should hire an explainer video agency to effectively communicate your message and engage your audience. These specialized agencies can craft clear, compelling, and visually appealing videos that inform, educate, and encourage viewer action. Their expertise in storytelling helps create memorable content that boosts brand recognition and generates conversions.
Hire an explainer video agency because it:
Understands how to translate information into easily digestible content
Uses professional animation and design to captivate your audience
Optimizes videos for different platforms and audiences
Ensures studio quality production to enhance your brand’s credibility
Helps increase viewer retention with broadcast quality moving content
Provides strategic insights to maximize the impact of your videos
Allows you to focus on your core business while handling your video needs
Success Story
The case study chosen by our subject matter experts illustrates the tangible benefits of partnering with an explainer video agency:
Challenge: Stanley Engineered Fastening, a Stanley Black & Decker label, needed an educational explainer video for its complex Electronics Engineered Standards Program within a tight four-week deadline. They approached Kasra Design for this task.
Solution: Kasra Design began with scriptwriting and character design, focusing on the client’s key messages and target audience, including storage businesses, mobile media, computing, and telecom networks. After presenting multiple style options, it developed storyboards to outline the visual direction and provided voice-over samples for the client. With approvals, it swiftly moved through the animation stages to stay on track despite the short timeline.
Results: Kasra Design developed a 2.5D animated video with 3D elements to represent the technical details of the Electronics Engineered Standards Program while maintaining the visual appeal. The high-quality content was completed within the expected 4-week timeframe, showcasing the studio's creative expertise and ability to handle complex topics under tight deadlines.
How do I choose the best explainer video company for my business?
To choose the best explainer video company for your business, follow these key steps to ensure you get a high-quality output:
Clarify your objectives Understand what you want to achieve with the explainer video: boost sales, illustrate a concept, or increase brand awareness.
Define your budget Knowing your budget helps narrow your options, as explainer video companies offer services at various price points.
Research agencies Find agencies on Google and credible online directories like DesignRush to build a long list of potential partners.
Read reviews Look for client feedback to assess reliability and work quality.
Check portfolios Review their portfolios to see if their style matches your brand’s vision. Look for diversity in their work to ensure they can adapt to your specific needs.
Assess creativity, video quality, and storytelling ability Evaluate the quality of the previous works' animation, voice-over, and overall production. Check if they can craft a compelling narrative that will resonate with your target audience.
Consider case studies related to your industry See how they have helped similar businesses achieve their goals. An explainer video production company familiar with your sector's norms and audience can create more relevant and impactful content.
Review technical capabilities Ensure they can offer customization to fit your brand's identity and use the latest technologies for animation and video production.
Consider post-production support Understand their policy on revisions and edits. Check for additional services like video marketing, distribution, or translation, which can be valuable depending on your requirements.
Submit requests for proposals (RFPs) and schedule interviews Shortlist up to five explainer video agencies to send an RFP to and meet for an interview.
Discuss the proposals During the meeting, talk more about the custom proposals you received. This will give you an idea of how the company approaches your needs and whether they understand your vision.
Evaluate production and collaboration processes Understand their process, from scriptwriting to final delivery, and how they maintain open communication throughout the project.
Compare rates and value Compare their pricing while considering the value they offer. Sometimes, paying more for a company with a strong reputation and proven results is worth the investment. Check what’s included in the pricing packages to avoid hidden costs.
Make a decision After gathering all the necessary information, decide based on which company best meets your criteria and offers the best value for your business.
