- Project Brief: Design packaging that positions SOZ as a bold, alcohol-free mocktail brand through expressive visuals and strong shelf presence.
A beverage packaging system for a natural mocktail rejects the quiet, clinical look of traditional wellness brands. SOZ's identity proves that skipping the alcohol does not mean skipping the party.
The visual style looks like someone raided a Miami Vice wardrobe and a disco crate on the same afternoon, then poured both into a gradient. Colors shift and pulse across each bottle like a dance floor at 2 a.m. The type is bold and slanted, the kind of lettering that looks right on a bottle someone is already raising.
SOZ treats sobriety as a choice with an attitude rather than a compromise. Each variant carries its own color story: Midnight Bloom fades from coral to deep violet, Social Spark burns hot pink at its core, Berry Bright slides into purple like the tail end of a long night out.
The bottle sits at home wedged between cocktails on a crowded bar top. The label flat confirms the thinking behind it. Flavor names like "Energie & Clarté" and "Calme & Sérénité" run in a script that leans back like it's unhurried, while the SOZ wordmark towers above in chunky, rounded caps that take up space on purpose.
