Capactix Business Solution explained their services and how they support small businesses. I had an onboarding call with one of their accountants, who helped me set up our financial documents and reports. They send me monthly financial reports and complete other projects as requested. They have given me access to an online accounting portal where I can view all our financial statements. They also prepare and submit our taxes and manage our payroll. Their service package also includes the preparation of my personal taxes. They have begun implementing electronic signatures on documents.Capactix Business Solutions has given me free bits of business advice, and were planning to hire them for consulting services later this year. Initially, I spoke with the owner, who connected me to the main accountant that I now stay in contact with. There is another teammate who reaches out to me with questions on occasion. We are able to make better decisions and be more mindful of our costs using the documents and reports they have set up. This visibility is especially important as the economy is softening. Their tax preparation process is smooth since they track our finances throughout the year. Its helpful to have them onboard; with their services, we dont need to manage an in-house bookkeeper.

      Let me start with the positives to be fair: The team has always been professional in their communication and onboarding felt easy and welcoming a few months ahead of tax time.But when it was time for actual filings to happen, it started to fall apart.WCG says they're great at S-Corp elections, both on their website and client comms -- saying they have a "100% success rate". But sadly they failed on mine. 8 months later, the IRS confirmed to both myself and a new CPA firm that they never received the retroactive election from WCG. I asked, bumped, and probed the team several times to follow-up on this... and I felt like our conversation just went in circles.Asking simple questions were also just too much to get a straight forward answer on. And in the final state tax filing, there was an error that would have added an additional $900 in fees added to my total cost, further showing the lack of detail WCG had on my file.Because of this failure, it caused the later federal and state filings to be rejected -- something they had no awareness, stemming from the lack of awareness of the IRS never receiving the initial S-Corp retro election. It now has caused a ripple effect on my business and personal filings... This has already triggered several thousands in penalties, and I'm having to pay for documents to be drafted once more by another firm.I'm not sure if the firm is now oversubscribed with clients, but things are not in alignment with what it seems others typically experience. I would suggest business owners look elsewhere to ensure your filings are accurate.

The receptionist told me on two separate occasions that they'd get ahold of me after tax season. I still have yet to hear from them. When I'd go into the office it seemed disorganized, I can understand Tax Season is very busy and a lot of paperwork but keep in mind this is confidential information, and paperwork should be left all over the place where everyone can see.
