BCS Interactive was an extremely easy company to work with, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything they did for our non-profit organization. Our project required a written manual that was well over 100 printed pages to be put live online within a separate website that was connected through our main website. They worked well with our IT department to be sure everything ran smoothly for our constituents. They came up with ways to make the manual very user-friendly and gave us plenty of opportunities for input. The design was made entirely by BCS Interactive and we just loved how easily you could navigate through the throngs of information! They made sure to match everything so it replicated our main website design. They were very patient in teaching us the CMS portion of the manual so we could make changes as necessary. Any issues we ever had, or questions that came up, they were quick to respond and always pleasant! CodeVA is a small nonprofit computer science education advocacy and training organization that punches above its weight in terms of its impact. But for our first three years, our web presence looked positively punch drunk. A lack of staff time and resources meant our website - a necessary function for us for everything from public messaging and awareness to teacher training registration to kid summer camp registration - looked like this computer science education needed to go back to school. My company had a pretty horrible experience with this company! They overpromised and underdelivered, the project management experience was clunky, confusing and repetitive, there was a lot of work on the part of the client to complete (when you're paying $25K you'd expect it to be seamless). Topics during conversations were forgotten, instructions had to be repeated multiple times. Upon completion, we allowed one of our freelancers access to the coding and she deemed it "lazy coding." The whole experience was very unfortunate!
