I've enjoyed working with Artisan both on internal projects and being placed with clients through them. While they don't see the same number of roles as some of the bigger companies, they do tend to get jobs with higher pay rates than some of the other staffing agencies - and definitely advocate for the talent when it comes to dealing with clients. I was promised a modest financial gesture to offset the hardship of leaving my job based on their word — that, too, has yet to be fulfilled. I’ve lost income, stability, and viable opportunities during this process, and I would not want any other professional to go through the same. Some individual staff members (like Theo and Abhishek) were communicative and made an effort, but the agency as a whole was disorganized, opaque, and unreliable. I strongly encourage others to vet this agency thoroughly before making any career decisions based on their offers. Your time, livelihood, and trust are too valuable. UPDATE: Since posting my original review, I’ve learned that my situation was unusual, and Vbeyond did work with me to get things moving. Some staff members, like Theo and Abhishek, were communicative and supportive, and I was able to negotiate a few things outside my original contract. In the end, I completed the assignment successfully, and I appreciate that they stuck with me through the process.

This organization is a scam!! Every single email they send is unsolicited, has a position that does not match my skills or history and when I call the hiring company about the position denies (a) having the position at all, (b) having any position similar open for hire, (c) having any working relationship with AVA Consulting. Many of the "openings" are with companies based in a location I moved away from over 10 years ago. While the "openings" are always listing a city near my current location the client company usually states they don't have any offices in my state (or region). The "agents" of AVA always immediately hang up when I try to conference call with the client. The excuse for all of the inconsistencies in the postings, etc is that "these are general openings" and "the hiring coordinators [at the client companies] typically do not know about the specifics of the positions" These are data mining scams. Whether there is any legitimate work being done at AVA is unknown. But there is plenty of data mining scamming that is originating from them.

The questions he asked sounded like he wanted to collect my personal information like my birthday etc. Never have I ever have a company do that. Incompetent interviewers. The worse interview I've had from inexperienced recruiters. I felt as though I was being interrogated in what was supposed to have been a mock interview session, so I was told by the interviewer Mike. Tatiana had a resting dead look on her face the entire time throughout the interview. No personality whatsoever or proper interviewing skills. Mike thought I was lying when I mentioned that the company I was interviewing for manufactured washer/dryers through Bosch. He immediately told Tatiana to go and research this information to determine if it was accurate, never mind the fact that I mentioned that one of Bosch's manufacturing plant is located in my hometown as well as the company that makes parts for them. I definitely know this to be true. Tatiana returned back with inaccurate information that the company sold its stock back to Bosch in the 90s. However, she lefted out the fact that the company still sells washer/dryers that is still manufactured through Bosch and the said company is a brand under the same umbrella as Bosch. Mike and Tatiana were rude and a compete waste of my time. I was well suited and over qualified for the entry level role for which I was interviewing. It was just unfortunate to have had been mishandled by inept, undiscerning recruiters. I decided to apply to the actual company directly. I don't recommend using this staffing agency.
