Over several years I worked across broker teams, marketing and IT as an Account Executive at a Perth insurance brokerage. Throughout this time FocusNet reliably served as our managed IT service partner. The usual manual handling of policy data and dealing with lagging legacy systems was always a bottleneck to performance. When Andrew Barbara and the team introduced InsureTech Connect, it was ideal for our situation.Andrew and the team took the time to understand how we actually worked before making changes. They worked closely with the ITC system and our internal team to connect the systems properly, so information flowed through accurately and removed the human error from the multiple touch points that existed before. It made a real difference to day-to-day operations. Fewer errors, less time wasted on manual tasks and a much smoother experience across the board. Not having to save multiple times for contemporaneous file notes across Officetech and Insight alone was a huge time saver.Whenever we needed support, the FocusNet team was there, and that reliability mattered just as much as the implementation itself.

After working here for 9 years, I finally had to leave because of the management style of my reporting manager. Many of my team members had raised complaints multiple times, but no one in HR or higher management cared to listen.There is no opportunity to learn new things or grow in your career. Instead of skill development, the reporting manager forces employees to do repetitive tasks even during free time, which feels like a complete waste of potential.The reporting manager is also very biased - very supportive towards female employees but extremely strict with male employees, applying rules like in a school. Despite being in Tatvasoft for more than 15 years, he still goes for lunch alone - which clearly shows how disconnected he is from his own team.Sadly, instead of valuing long-term employees, the company culture pushes people to resign. Definitely not recommended for anyone looking for growth and a fair, employee-friendly workplace.
