Standout Features:

  • Monochromatic layout
  • Engaging and interactive platform
  • Extensive font sizes

Base Design laid a solid foundation for combining the legendary neighborhood’s cultural and artistic heritage with its web design for the Studio Museum in Harlem.

This engaging and interactive website goes deep into detail once it catches the users’ curiosity, leading them to click on any piece. Upon clicking, visitors will be redirected to a specific page dedicated to the piece.

Void of colors in the layout, this simple monochromatic layout does wonders for placing the colorful art (in many senses) at the forefront.

The typography uses large font styles that feel accessible and friendly while retaining an artistic touch. The texts are easy to read and represent a nice aesthetic addition to the web design.
