This organization is a scam!! Every single email they send is unsolicited, has a position that does not match my skills or history and when I call the hiring company about the position denies (a) having the position at all, (b) having any position similar open for hire, (c) having any working relationship with AVA Consulting. Many of the "openings" are with companies based in a location I moved away from over 10 years ago. While the "openings" are always listing a city near my current location the client company usually states they don't have any offices in my state (or region). The "agents" of AVA always immediately hang up when I try to conference call with the client. The excuse for all of the inconsistencies in the postings, etc is that "these are general openings" and "the hiring coordinators [at the client companies] typically do not know about the specifics of the positions" These are data mining scams. Whether there is any legitimate work being done at AVA is unknown. But there is plenty of data mining scamming that is originating from them.

The questions he asked sounded like he wanted to collect my personal information like my birthday etc. Never have I ever have a company do that. Only when you’re getting hired and doing the onboarding then you will need to share your birthday to the company. Long overdue review but I worked with Sheri Sakin and my experience was subpar in comparison to other temp agencies in NYC. She was very pushy in trying to get me to leave my job for another job. Ultimately, I got hired under a temp to perm position, but the perm aspect never came after 11 months of working there with no bad reviews. There was very poor communication with me on that. There was never a check in to see how I was doing while in the job. I was placed in a toxic, prejudice, environment. After getting abruptly let go bc they "did not have the budget" to make me a full-time hire, Sheri sent me two other interviews and when those companies decided to hire internally, or just not get back to me, she blamed ME lol. Saying my confidence on the interviews wasn't there (untrue), andthen I wasn't sent anymore jobs. I am currently happily employed (this was a year ago) as a full-time hire by my own merit but it's been on my spirit to write an honest review about my experience with Solomon Page. Again, I have worked with other agencies and they were much more caring than this seemed. It's like once they drop you at a job there's no follow up to see if it's a good fit.

I had an unprofessional experience with Solomon Page during my application for a senior property manager position. The recruiters were aggressive, questioned my extensive real estate experience and educational background, and talked over me during interviews. Too many years of the industry, I was able to find out a lot of different Different information about the employer, all such as their delinquencies their poor management of funds whenever I poked at this information and try to get a more clear answer of what was happening with the employer on the previous employee that had lasted only eight months there everything was very cagie. Some of the people who work there are racists, ageists and subscribe to cronyism. From Mitch the owner to the workers/assignment managers like Karen and Natalie. They are the worst. They don't care about their employees. They only care about their clients, period. I got injured on one of the jobs that they assigned me and these people suggested that I file for Medicaid and go to the hospital. No help or concern whatsoever. After that, I wasn't given any other assignments. I was told that there were no assignments available even though there were other employees who were getting two to three different assignments at a time - working from home,etc. If you are a minority, don't bother. If you get anything, it will be janitorial, regardless of whether you have a college degree or not. These people are horrible. Don't use them!!!

They lie to you to get you to register with them by promising you a lot of jobs and then once you register with them, they tell you nothing is available. I spent 12 months reaching out to them for assignments to no avail. All I got were lies. Obviously, they use your information to get more business, by getting more employers to sign up with them. Unprofessional. I was contacted by a woman named Avrl L. via text message regarding a position I applied for. She texted back LATE, which I thought was unusual, but I accepted meeting her on Teams the next morning. I took time out of my schedule, had the meeting, I thought it went well, she said she wanted to proceed with sending the company my resume, that she'd email me an application within 2 hours that I had to fill out "ASAP". I got nothing all day, I checked in, no response. She completely ghosted me. Why do people feel it's ok to waste applicants time like this?? Its cruel and heartless as some of us are truly looking for work. Don't like the candidate? Just say it, but dont give false hope and lie to our face, then blow us off. My experience with Online Rewards has been deeply disappointing. I attempted to redeem a voucher and spent over 45 minutes trying to navigate a broken and confusing redemption process. Even after disabling Apple’s Private Relay, the system repeatedly failed. The process is neither user-friendly nor reliable. To make things worse, customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. I received a generic, useless reply—and shockingly, the support ticket was simply closed without any resolution. I had to reopen it myself. This is not just frustrating: it’s unacceptable. Online Rewards operates on behalf of Nielsen, and this experience reflects very poorly on both companies. When you invest time collecting points, you expect a seamless and fair redemption process—not wasted time, stress, and radio silence. Final verdict: Unusable system, no accountability, and zero respect for the user’s time. Avoid this platform unless you’re ready for frustration without support.

Attention employers, apartment managers, etc.: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. After saving up points for almost two years on my apartment's rewards program, shortly before I moved I cashed them in towards a $50 gift card. I made sure to redeem them before I left the property, as I knew it would be difficult, if not impossible, to collect afterwards. Ha! If only I knew the horrors that awaited me. Well, I waited and waited. After two weeks ( It's supposed to be only a 24-48 hour wait to receive your claim code), I called Online Rewards/Be Rewarded and was told that because I had moved I was not eligible to get my card, even though they sent me their form email notifying me my reward was forthcoming two days before I relocated. This fact made no difference to OR--They refused to take ownership of the situation and just blamed my former property for the whole fiasco. After several more weeks of increasingly frustrating phone calls to the leasing office and OR, I was finally given temporary access to my old account to resubmit my points, followed by the same old announcement that the reward was on its way. ANOTHER week goes by, and guess what--Nothing! Called Online Rewards YET AGAIN and had to resubmit my points a THIRD time. This time, success--I FINALLY got my redemption points after only SIX weeks of aggravation--for something I deserved and was rightfully owed. Do you want to put your clients, employees, or residents through this same ordeal? Of course you don't--So FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. You've been warned.

We have been with Wiss for about (11) years now, so I believe we know their firm fairly well. At the start, they immediately saved us a considerable amount of tax liability in Year 1 and moving forward over the years. As we are a global corporation with many subsidiaries, they also made some recommendations as far as restructuring to take advantage of other more technical issues. We primarily use Wiss for our annual general accounting audit, tax preparations and filings, and 401K audit. They also assist from time to time regarding international related issues. As with many companies, changes of personnel do occur from time to time, but they have always made these as seamless as possible. We have also experienced Federal and State audits, which they have also guided us thru from A to Z. As the owner of a small business, the accounting firm I choose needs to be responsive, friendly, and thorough. Having been with Wiss for over 5 years now, Paul, Jim and the rest of the staff have been amazing. They respond to my emails, answer my questions and add insight into the financial and accounting aspects of my business. This has allowed me to make better decisions for the growth of my company and the financial security for my family. I have had two other accounting firms in the past and neither were as attentive or engaging as they are at Wiss. The team at Wiss got my business onto an online platform that has made my accounting a breeze. There have been several occasions where I needed clarification and had difficulty with certain aspects of my quickbooks account and they were able to rectify them within 1 business day. As a busy owner running a company, I feel great knowing the accounting aspect and tax planning is in great hands. One less thing I need to be concerned with which allows me to concentrate on growing my business. I would highly recommend them and have personally done so with family, friends and colleagues.

This is the worst company I have dealt with in a very long time. They were very quick to act and get us signed up and start payroll. Once they had us, things fell apart very quickly. They have no communication, no follow-through and are very inaccurate with their payroll. One of the first payroll files we sent to them, they calculated minutes worked as hours worked. We have been waiting over a month to get our Quickbooks import file from them. The bottom line is, save yourself the headache and stay away from this company.

I don't actually have any affiliation or connection to this company at all. I wanted to write this review because they helped me in a situation with a recent restaurant closure that they did business with. I had a gift card with the restaurant that had a substantial balance on it. They fought for me and worked with the owner of the closed restaurant to get that gift card transferred to a usable gift card and they didn't have to do that at all. I wanted to thank this company for fighting for me and doing the right thing. This is an honest company and if I were a business owner in need of their services, I would definitely hire them!
