Current promotional offers are also featured on the home screen to entice users with great rates and other benefits.
Booking a room with the SPG app is a straightforward and enjoyable process. The app auto-populates suggested locations as the user types, and a calendar widget makes it easy to select dates with minimal need for typing. Search results are returned in a card-based, long-scrolling screen that allows users to browse their options. Each hotel card includes a property image, average rating, address, and nightly price. Within the hotel listing page itself, the user can tap to expand on different room types, which gives them access to even more information and images of specific rooms. This feature takes the guesswork out of selecting a room, and instills confidence in the user making the booking.
The mobile app also has other convenient features for guests, including keyless room entry using only their mobile phone, and mobile check-in at participating properties. These features save guests time and make the SPG app a worthwhile one to have.
The SPG app features a dark, edgy design done in the brand’s deep purple palette. High quality imagery contributes to the luxurious feel of the app, and an intuitive tabbed menu at the bottom of the screen makes navigation seamless.
