Software Development Review from Jacques Antikadjian

Unico Connect has been an exceptional development partner in helping us build PLCY, our AI governance and runtime policy-enforcement platform. From the beginning, their team took the time to understand not only what we wanted to build, but also the security architecture, governance requirements, workflows, and enterprise use cases behind the product. What impressed me most was their ability to take our security designs and technical workflows and translate them into a functional, scalable platform. PLCY requires much more than traditional software development it involves AI governance, policy enforcement, data protection, model and regional routing, auditability, and enterprise-grade security controls. UnicoConnect approached these requirements thoughtfully and worked closely with us to turn complex concepts into a real product. Their team has been responsive, collaborative, technically capable, and willing to work through difficult architectural and product challenges with us. They have treated the engagement like a true partnership rather than simply a development project. As a founder, it is extremely valuable to have a technology partner that understands the vision while also being able to execute on the details. Unico Connect has played an important role in helping bring PLCY from architecture and security designs into a working AI governance platform. I would highly recommend UnicoConnect to companies building sophisticated SaaS, AI, security, or enterprise software products.

Unico built our Order Management System across two operating companies and integrated it with Bringg for dispatch. The hard part wasn't the software, it was the business logic we run on-demand, multi-stop, scheduled contract, and distribution work across multiple markets, and the pricing exceptions that used to live in our people's heads are now configured in the system. Order intake, dispatch, commissions and billing are one flow instead of three, and our team reviews work rather than reconstructing it. What set Unico apart was their willingness to learn how a courier and freight business actually operates instead of fitting us to a template. We worked with a dedicated team on the Unico side - a project lead, developers, and QA with direct access throughout rather than everything routed through an account manager. We've engaged them for phase two.

Specifically, working with Ben was amazing! He was incredibly responsive and answered all my questions throughout the process of updating our website. Our original site was built roughly a decade ago (or longer) so we were in need of some streamlining and modernization. The team did just that and quickly! The first iteration was spot on for what we were looking for. Not to mention, they were able to launch quickly and without any interruption to our daily operations. Would 100% recommend [it]!

Web Design Review from Sapna Doshi, Ph.D.

My experience working with Design in DC was incredible. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and seemed to genuinely care about helping create the best possible website for my business. They were also invested in making sure the process was one in which I enjoyed and felt taken care of. The regular meetings made me feel like I was a priority and that progress was continually being made. I so appreciated the attention to detail in regards to the user experience. The collaboration in understanding my wishes and desires for the website and user experience was met with patience and paying attention to detail on my behalf. Not only were they taking my suggestions but offering their own to help me maximize the potential of my website. The design and functionality is more than what I could have imagined. I know, undoubtedly, that the work that Design in DC did for me will help my business grow. After wasting money in years past on website designers, I was worried I'd be doing hte same here. I was wrong. I don't think I'll ever need to search for another website designer group again. I would recommend this group to anyone I know. Thank you, Design in DC! It was an absolute pleasure working with all of you!

The whole Team at Calibrate have been great from beginning to end, and we're excited to have a partner as we continue to grow. Three words I would use to describe Calibrate are organized, insightful and collaborative. From the outset the scope of work was clearly defined, but they also showed great flexibility working through changes that arose. Faizan is terrific at running our regular meetings and keeping everyone up to date on progress. The team has a good balance at listening to your ideas but also guiding with their experience and expertise. Our project took longer than anticipated because of issues unearthed during the development, but Kevin and the team worked through it all with us. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the final outcome. This is a talented team for sure, but their passion and ability to collaborate effectively is what really sets Calibrate apart.

eCommerce Development Review from Lorien Yonker

I partnered with Calibrate to develop a new eCommerce website, expertly integrating it with Shopify. Its guidance on software operation and website maintenance for future collections was invaluable. I valued the agency's patience and helpfulness in teaching me software intricacies and quick adaptability to changing project scopes. What set Calibrate apart was its attentive approach. Calibrate's small team was ideal for addressing my concerns proactively. While some may find it a drawback, I preferred the agency's primarily virtual meeting approach. (Verified via email)

eCommerce Development Review from George Sava

We required Port & Sava to create an e-commerce website to make shopping easy for our consumers. Port & Sava created our B2C e-commerce platform from scratch using Shopify. Despite the hurdles of building this type of platform and connecting it with our internal system, Port & Sava has made this project a huge success. Now that the platform is up and operating, we've generated enough revenues to pay the project's costs.

DigitlHaus has thus exceeded my expectations for professionalism, responsiveness, and skill. We began our engagement with an audit of our current site. The results were detailed, with actionable steps for site improvements to clean up code, increase performance, and enhance customer experience. They worked with us to develop a plan that worked with my schedule and budget. We use a combination of WordPress and BigCommerce, and I’m pleased with DigitlHaus’ capability to code on both platforms.
