The fitness app market is heating up, and ASICS is the latest developer to get in on the game with the new ASICS Studio app. ASICS Studio promises to “free your workout” with “the fitness class experience in the palm of your hand.” With the app, users can access audio workouts that will guide them through a fitness program.
The ASICS Studio app experiences begin with an onboarding process that highlights the benefits of the app and encourages users to sign up for an account. The app itself is free to download, but users have to create an account and pay a monthly fee for full access. New users can get a 7-day free trial.
Users can browse workout in the app by category, including strength training, treadmill, fusion, outdoor running, and more. Each category is represented by a cover image paired with bold text. Within each category, workouts are listed with titles, targeted areas, duration, and recommended experience level. Users can filter to show only workouts with specific equipment, so the results shown are compatible with the equipment they actually have on hand.
Each workout page includes an image from the workout, a brief description, over of equipment, and list of moves in the workout. Users can tap on a specific move to see a demo of how it’s done. A bold “start workout” call to action urges the user to get started
The ASICS Studio app has a bright, friendly aesthetic that makes the experience of working out at home both cheerful and approachable. Large buttons and readable text, paired with colorful photography makes the app highly functional, even in the context of a workout.
The ASICS Studio app is featured in the Sports & Leisure category of the Best App Designs section.
