Takes absolutely forever. No one to follow up to make sure all members of your “team“ are moving as they should. You can’t just call and get somebody on the phone. You have to schedule a time with them which could sometimes be months only for them to tell you they’re missing paperwork, Or “I’m not sure that’s not my department” or in my case, oh your person is no longer with the company. I have to reassign you to a new person! I had two months of business tax paperwork to combine with my personal tax paperwork and here it is August 2025 and those are still not done!! As a new business owner, I thought I was doing the right thing by hiring a team because I knew I had no business messing around with any numbers, but I have been so stressed out and Creating more work for myself after hiring them, then I would have with any other company. Don’t make the same mistake I did! stay away!

From the initial meeting with Janathan Allen, we were given incorrect, misleading advice that resulted in a huge financial loss and months of wasted time and stress. When we reversed our decision and trusted the firm to help us out of the situation, they were non-responsive and did not follow through with the required actions.Incredibly poor customer service. They told us what we wanted to hear - for example, they stated that as a foreign entity, we were able to open a US bank account and that they even had clients who had achieved this outcome. That information turned out to be incorrect.Be very wary about using this firm.

Just had the MOST unfriendly and rude call back from Norman Blatner. I called this office earlier today explaining that I was looking to hire a CPA to help me with NYS tax questions.I received a call back from Norman Blatner well after 5pm. He seemed to have misunderstood what exactly I needed help with and very rudely told me that he would not be able to help me and he was "just calling as a courtesy to let me know to remove his contact info from my list of people who could help me". When I tried to explain what it was that I actually needed he kept cutting me off and re-stating that he was just calling to tell me that he couldn't help me. He spoke very fast and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. His tone was rude and dismissive. He definitely is not anyone I would want to do business with. I don't know if he treats everyone like trash or if I was just the unfortunate victim of him today. I do not recommend anyone reach out to this guy for your CPA needs. Do better Blatner & Mineo CPA PC!!!!!

Buyer Beware – A Costly Lesson in Trust When we first opened on Elmwood Ave.I entrusted this company with managing my business finances and ended up losing $5,000 due to what I believe was financial misconduct. When I started asking questions, I was met with attitude instead of accountability. One of the accountants, who had never been on a cruise before, somehow managed to go on a two-week cruise—right after my money went missing.To make things even more suspicious, the IRS later sent me a notice for a 941 overpayment of $4,000, and $1,000 suddenly appeared in my bank account with no explanation. That’s a total of $5,000 that I know was taken. One of the accountants, who had never been on a cruise before, somehow managed to go on a two-week cruise—right after my money went missing.To make things even more suspicious, the IRS later sent me a notice for a 941 overpayment of $4,000, and $1,000 suddenly appeared in my bank account with no explanation.
