We have been working successfully with GelComm and Patricio (Pato) Fuentes, their Principal & Founder, for many years now. They initially engaged Capitola Media to create and produce a series of videos for Oral-B (P&G) and Disney. Our deadline was incredibly tight, and firm. GelComm helped us craft a great script and accompanying storyboards. Casting went subsequently smoothly as well. Physical production was next, followed by a lot of late-night motion graphics work. Communication back and forth between us and Gelcomm was always efficient and collaborative. And we made our deadline. All three clients were happy, and we have since worked with GelComm on a number of different CPG packaging projects based on our first positive production together. We cannot recommend Gelcomm and Patricio enough.

RUN AWAY from this company! Supposedly located in California. They sold me a package to design the branding, website, and social media for my company for $1500.00. "EVERYTHING" for $1500.00. Have paid over $6000.00 and I have NO control over the material I paid for. They send you everything in formats you cannot use or convert. They want to keep a hold of you to keep asking for money!!!!!! NEVER send anything to print through them!!! Ordered some business cards and brochures and have never received the brochures. To this day I have not received a single invoice or receipt of anything of what I have paid, including the design of the logo, the purchase of the domain and many other things. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I believe this company is a criminal enterprise. They are also known as Creative Company and Sketch Profs. Creative Company made a $2,500 unauthorized withdrawal from my checking account. When I protested the transaction, Uptown Logo Design provided a fake receipt, fake transaction and activity logs and fake emails supporting the charge to my account. It was an elaborate and thorough fraud. I'm sure they've used similar fabricated documents before with other people they've ripped off. I reported them to the FTC and FBI.

We went through three firms before we discovered Heather and E2W. We were rather skeptical in engaging with them because we had spent tons of money and time with previous PR groups and had received minimal results that definitely did not justify what it cost us. From the outset, I was impressed with Heather's reaction to my verbal concerns regarding dealing with another PR firm. She was not phased by my skepticism and quickly articulated a process to insure that we would hit some pre-determined targets that we could all agree to and in the end the actual results were beyond what we expected. Scam Artists – Avoid at All Costs If we could give zero stars, we would. This company excels at taking your money but fails miserably at delivering on their promises. Our website went "live" over a year ago, and it has been a nightmare ever since. From the start, countless features didn’t work as promised, and despite their assurances that they’d fix the issues, nothing has been resolved. Months of empty promises and endless excuses. Every time we call, we speak to someone new, and their favorite line is, "Let me look into it and get back to you." Spoiler alert: they never call back, and the problems persist. Now, we can’t even access the backend of our own website because that’s broken too. It’s beyond frustrating. Save yourself the stress, time, and money—hire someone else! This is hands-down the worst website development company we’ve ever encountered.

Most of the glowing reviews here don’t seem to be from real clients. My experience was the opposite. This company is grossly incompetent. They charged high fees but delivered sub-par work, riddled with delays and headaches that continued even after the contract ended. They were hired to design a web app, but the end product was so poor that I had to bring in engineers to fix the mess they left behind. There were issues at every stage of the project, from design to deployment. What stings the most is that I was the one who recommended them to my team because a friend knew the owner. I deeply regret that recommendation. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is that the team, Lanre especially, were at least cooperative — but cooperation is pointless (and frankly annoying) when the work is fundamentally flawed. My advice: stick to using them only for basic website creation, and hire a skilled freelancer for more advanced projects. My advice to Chisom: It’s unfortunate that our experience turned out so poorly, because your company is a great concept with a lot of potential. Protect the brand you’ve worked so hard to build — the sweat and tears show — by investing in skilled engineers and raising delivery standards. Otherwise, you risk frustrated clients, avoidable disputes, and damage to the reputation you’ve worked to establish.
