This is the most pathetic web design company ever. They have on their website 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. My experience was far from that. All I wanted to do was up date an existing website that I very much liked that I had used for 10 years. They gave me a price of updating of $8000. It was a fight the entire process. I did not want anything special, just updates of my current website for the new technology that had occurred over the past 10 years. They could not get my website duplicated. When they did not duplicated, and I showed them why it was not a duplication, they said, oh, you want that, this is out of our scope. My argument was they knew the scope, they could see the web site I liked. They keep upping the price, they raised the quote to over $20,000. When we launched their version after months of struggle getting like my old website, there was no way for me to adequately change my pricing on the website, in a manner that I could preform, again, just like I showed them in the beginning. They showed me their new and improved process, but it was impossible for me to function. They again, wanted more money after paying them more than 2 and a half times the price they quoted, and still not giving me a website that was like my original website that they were suppose to improve. It took me 3 Months to get my old website back up after giving this company took $20,000 of my money. This is the most pathetic rip off company I have ever dealt with. I have an over 100 Million Dollar a Year Company, and having their disaster website up 2 months, paying them 2.5 Times their original bid, and having to take it down because it was not functional was truly a nightmare, and I wasted over $20,000 of money, and got nothing but 2 Months worth of headaches. They told me in the beginning they could have it completed in a couple weeks, but I had 4 Month of a Nightmare, and lost $20,000. Stay away from this company!!!!!

Despite receiving a notification that our website was finished, over 70% of the basic functions for an online store were missing upon review. This was not the standard I expected from an experienced company, especially given the premium price we paid. While we worked together to address the feedback, I ended up contributing to the development process myself to expedite progress. After making the final paymenton the understanding that we would continue refining the website during the agreed three-month technical support periodI was met with limited follow-up on my comments. I provided organized feedback in a Google Doc, categorized as critical or normal, expecting proactive communication and updates. Instead, I had to engage in constant follow-ups, a process I only expect when working with freelancers, not professional agencies. This lack of initiative was frustrating, especially as I had communicated my prior negative experiences with freelancers and chose Dot IT for a seamless, professional service. Additionally, while we agreed to use the same server and hosting, the basic theme used was a surprise. I had anticipated more effort in redesigning the site, particularly as that was the primary reason for the contract.

Cart, checkout, wishlist, login and search were all built in the same go. The Watch and Buy part, where a video plays next to a product you can buy, gets used a lot. Orders come straight through the site now instead of through chat, which changed how our days run. The launch happened on the exact date given at the start. Not everything was smooth though, the product page had to be built again after it ran slow on mid range phones and that fix took longer than promised. For a small jewellery brand going online properly for the first time, it was worth the money.

Agency Partner built us a pretty website... but it was slow and not technically optimized for SEO. The backend was very buggy, with many "useless" sections in the WordPress dashboard. I am a WordPress developer, but I am also the company's marketing director so we chose to have the site developed by an outside company. I spent approximately 20 hours working on the backend removing useless "features" and optimizing the site to pass the Core Web Vitals. It should've been a huge red flag when the company wouldn't show us the backend before launch. Additionally, when they launched the site they "no-indexed" the entire website! Recently, I sent a ticket to support to fix 404 pages. After getting no response for several days, I went into the site and fixed the error myself. They had the audacity to send me a "we fixed the error" email 24 hours after we fixed the issues ourselves! If you are looking for a well-built site, look elsewhere. This company is only good for pretty site that loads slow and is bogged down with junk. The company reached out and heard my complaints. There's not a lot they can do to make this right (since most of the work they left undone was finished by me), but at least they listened. They extended our site warranty to help fix any outstanding issues. I'm adjusting my rating to three-stars.
