We had a great initial project with Ameex before they were purchased by Perficient. Post-support was slow, but acceptable, however as time went on, I stopped getting the level of communication and time itemization I was accustomed to. With Perficient taking over, things devolved pretty quickly, and despite multiple conversations with my account manager - nothing changed, even after bumping up hours to have more dedicated resources. Ultimately, I cancelled the contract this year. Disappointing because their team/work was stellar (and the development team is still solid) before, but the simple asks were continually ignored, and over time, I lost trust that I was getting the hours agreed upon.Towards the end, there was also what felt like a lot of gaslighting of my concerns, and outside of an initial project, I cannot recommend Perficient for ongoing support.Edit: I'm now bumping this to a 1 Star because I've spent the last 3 weeks digging into code and it's one questionable decision after another. Really poor.

I cancelled all iPage services over a year ago and sent multiple written requests to stop billing. Despite that, they have continued to charge my PayPal without consent:$355.36 + $22.99 in Oct 2024$257.95 again on Sept 1, 2025Each time I disputed and emailed, I received no response. It is impossible to reach real support or get these fraudulent charges stopped. A quick look at the BBB page shows I’m not alone — this is a documented pattern of deceptive billing practices.This company continues to charge long after cancellation, ignores customer requests, and hides behind PayPal auto-billing. Totally unacceptable and scammy. If you value your money and sanity, avoid iPage/Newfold Digital.

Should be an option for Zero or "no stars" for this type of business. I have had a website for more than 10 years and everything has been flawless. That is until the company that hosted my site merged with this BlueHost. Immediately... my website went down. Even though I have a current credit card on file and my website has been set to auto renewal... the day it changed to BlueHost... my site went down. I tried to login and see if it was something I could fix, but couldn't see any issues.When I called in, I was told my plan had expired. They never tried to contact me and they did in fact have my current credit card on file. But despite that, they decided it was better to just let my website go completely dark. Great first impression.The customer service tech I spoke with spent more than half an hour, most of which trying to upsell me on other things. I had repeatedly told her I wanted to just get my site back up and running and to have the auto-renewal back on, as it has been with the other company. Finally, after all that hassle, I asked to downgrade to a lower tier plan since the one I was paying for was a premium plan and this website does not need it. Again, waiting for another 15-20 minutes she told me to get "pricing". How do they not know what the pricing is??? Finally, she came back with a price that seemed fair. I said "seemed" fair but only to find out I would have to pay a "one-time" fee for downgrading which essentially brought my total amount just about back to what the previous plan was.This place is horrible. They cheat and so much like a cable company, will do everything from exorbitant long waits on line to a lot of nonsense such as a "downgrade" fee to just cheat you out of your money. There must be so many other great options and I know I will start looking for them today.If you are looking for a website host, DO NOT use this company. Again, mine was switched without my doing. I would never have used them had it been my choice. Avoid at all cost. As a Veteran who served 30 years, it's appalling how people like this will do everything to cheat people.By the way, they have an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau.

I was ghosted after I was verbally offered a job over the phone.On March 7, 2024, a recruiter contacted me, stating that she came across my application via LinkedIn. At that time, I had already received a job offer from another company but hadn't committed to it as I was exploring different opportunities. When asked by the recruiter if I had any pending applications elsewhere, I honestly disclosed that I had a pending job offer but had not yet accepted it. The recruiter then discussed the job position, salary package, and shift schedule then I expressed my interest to procced. She then scheduled me for an interview with the hiring managers.On March 8, 2024, I completed my initial interview, assessment, and final interview. On the same date, the recruiter contacted me to inform me that I had successfully passed the interviews. She mentioned that the job offer would be extended to me within the same day. She asked me whether I could start on March 18, 2024 and I confirmed my availability for that date.I immediately notified the other company via email that I was withdrawing my application. Explained the reason and they acknowledged my decision.Despite the assurance that the job offer will be rolled out within that day, I did not receive the said job offer.The day after, the recruiter followed up with me, explaining that the job offer was still pending as the client haven't signed it. She apologized for the delay and advised me to keep me updated.On March 14, four days prior to the said start date, I contacted the recruiter to inquire about the status of the job offer, the recruiter provided an update, indicating that it's still pending as it has not yet signed by the client. She assured me she would keep me informed. However, after that communication, I did not receive any further updates despite my attempts to reach out to the recruiter.I was left frustrated and disappointed. I waited patiently for more than a month, hopeful to receive communication from them, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response.If for any reason, client did not sign the contract or they found someone else for the job, they could have at least informed me.I waisted my time and the job opportunity from other company in favor with them. Very unprofessional!
